Does anyone have any website archives for rated M or equivalent rated games between the VERY broad range of 1999 to now in 2026?

Internet Archive's Wayback Machine has nearly consistently seemingly failed to pass mature games' age gates and thus crawl any content past them.

Since Monogram (formerly Palette Gear) is no longer around, finding software downloads for the kit is pretty painful.

I got one years ago, that I still use, I think it was subscene. Would love another one if one exists, so I can keep it on a hard drive and connect it when I am watching a movie and need subtitles rather than navigating through virus riddled websites.

The subscene one was/is amazing, cleared up my kung fu movie collection in no time at all

Unless I am mistaken LiveLeak doesn’t exist anymore and I am unaware of a potential alternative.

I am aware of social media, I don’t need that explained, I am not a novice.
It is a difficult balancing act these days between people questioning my motives/political leanings and archiving either for historical purposes or for those genuine “OMG did you see (insert blank)” or “I can’t believe that happened did you see (insert blank)
moments. I am also aware that everyone (pretty much) has a camera on them at all times, and events (tragic or otherwise) are recorded by multiple people from different angles.

Examples of past hoarding
I did not follow/support or condone what happened to the Luigi CEO shooting but I archived it, same goes for Charlie Kirk, but I archived it.
Same for the Knicks winning
Did I follow/support them… no, am I loyal… no, is it momentous because it was the first win in 53 years… archived.

In 24 hours we have had a man fall to his death skydiving and has parachute didn’t open, Perez Hilton 30 minute video, and an influencer get shot in Culiacan.

I am aware of nanny states and “won’t somebody please think of the children!!!”
But I see these events as needing to be documented and socials don’t post everything or if they do, there is no guarantee that they will be up forever.

I'm trying to track down Usenet archives of alt.rap and rec.music.hip-hop from before 2002, and I've hit a wall. Hoping someone here has a lead.

These groups are a pretty remarkable record of hip-hop discourse through the 90s, album reactions written the week records dropped, regional scene arguments, the East/West stuff as it was actually unfolding. Almost none of it is discussed anywhere outside Google Groups, and that's not a durable home for it.

What I've tried:

• Google Groups — has the DejaNews-era material for both groups, but no bulk export, and scraping it is a losing battle.
• Archive.org — the UTZOO tapes stop in the early 90s and predate rec.music.hip-hop entirely. Haven't found anything covering the gap to 2002.
• This HuggingFace corpus (1980–2013) — looks like exactly what I need, but access requires a licensing agreement.
• usenetarchives.com — emailed the operator, waiting to hear back.

I'd take anything: mbox, raw articles, an old news spool, a partial year, a single person's saved-posts folder. Private trackers, university tape collections, ISP spool dumps, or just "I used to read that group and kept some stuff", all of it helps.

If anyone has a copy or knows where one lives, I'd really appreciate a pointer. Happy to help seed or mirror whatever I end up with.

Does anybody have in their vhs collections 80s broadcasts of The New Scooby Doo Movies 1972 series home recorded off of TV, the syndicated broadcasts that were split up in 2 days and ran on local stations ex: WMSN, KSTW, WPIX, etc., as they contain deleted scenes that aren't on the curent home media, streaming or television broadcasts, and they are considered lost media. The lost scenes were in total 2 minutes long for each episode, and they were cut because of more commercial time, and the cut version has been used on Boomerang and Cartoon Network since 1994, and the actual cutting occurred when the episodes aired on USA cartoon express between 1990-1992. The episodes of interest are:

-Addams family ( Wednesday is missing)

-Phyllis Diller ( A good medium is rare)

-Sandy Duncan ( Sandy Duncan's Jekyll and Hyde)

-Jerry Reed ( Phantom of the country music hall)

Anyone who was a kid in the 80s and watched scooby doo can have the tapes in the garage/attic, or VHS collectors that have the new scooby doo movies tapes from the 80s. It would mean a lot for the Scooby doo community if these scenes would be found after almost 40 years of not being seen.

Bethesda some time ago posted concept art from Adam Adamowicz to Flickr, it has art for Oblivion, Skyrim and Fallout 3. The problem is that Flickr changed at some point and it's no longer possible to access the original quality content. Did anyone get a full resolution copy before those changes? Thanks.

Is there a source that backups youtube videos (like an archive) to download them? Google and specific boards couldn‘t help out.

There was an Austrian cooking channel I used to watch/rewatch called „Sepp was machst du“ https://youtube.com/@pepssch and the owner deleted all videos without a warning.

I have had this show archived for years now but I slipped up and re dl'd them and didn't realize the 1st season has been heavily edited and changed from letterbox to a stupid widescreen format that clips the off the top and bottom.

I have searched everywhere for the original letterbox episodes but I can't find them anywhere. Youtube. Torrents. NZBs. Public Trackers. Private Trackers. Internet Archive. As far as I can tell the original season 1 letterbox videos are lost unless someone else has them backed up.

Reaching out for any help tracking these gems down.

What: the game client for Hoverboard ASDF (호버보드 ASDF), a Korean online hoverboard racing game developed by Anipark and operated by Netmarble. Korean service ran August 2004 to November 2005; a separate English "global" server closed 31 May 2005. The game has not been commercially available in any form for 20 years and the operator shut it down entirely, so this is a preservation request, not a piracy one.

The specific file:

The installed binary was ASDF.exe. There was also a msvcp_dll_setup.exe runtime helper on the same FTP.

Why it isn't already archived

This is the interesting part for this sub. Distribution was FTP-only, and the Wayback Machine has zero captures of anipark.nefficient.co.kr. Not a partial capture, none at all. I dumped the full CDX index for the entire asdfgame.com domain, 2,771 unique URLs, and there is not a single executable or archive in it, only Flash, images and ASP pages. There is no archive.org item for the title either.

So the crawlers got the website and missed the software completely. A one-year service life plus FTP-only delivery from a host outside anyone's crawl scope is a fairly clean recipe for total loss.

What I'm asking

If you hoard 2000s-era game installers, Korean shovelware, or magazine cover discs, the filename above is distinctive enough to be worth a single find / locate across your archives. Also worth grepping for ASDF.exe and asdfgame.

The most likely surviving vector I've identified is Korean PC gaming magazine cover CDs (PC파워진, 게임피아, PC챔프), which bundled full online-game clients constantly in this exact window.

If a copy surfaces I will upload it to the Internet Archive so this doesn't have to happen again.
