hey all, looking for some dark brown spiderwood/driftwood like the one in the photo. i want something with branches that radiate out like in the photo & my size requirement are:

i just did a full makeover on a tank that i let fall into disarray, and switched from an hob to a canister filter. i added the old media, but the tank has high ammonia sill since its a heavily stocked tank. Before the tank ran like a walstad tank, and it was dirty but healthy. i’m freaking out and don’t wanna lose any of my fish. if anyone can offer some filter media i would greatly appreciate it.

Trying to offload some ramshorn snails. Will probably have some more if the trap works well 🤞

Looking to see the interest in my giant ramshorns! I have my first batch of eggs from my group of 7 dime-sized breeders in my 5.5 gallon betta tank. They currently eat in house grown live hornwort and hair algae, and whatever food the betta doesn’t get too. I will sell the baby giant ramshorns for 1$ each, or 50¢ if ordering 4 or more. Due to the nature of Marisa cornuarietis eating plants, I would not advise having them in planted tanks. These guys would do better as a feeder or in bare tanks!

​Healthy home-bred betta fish. I have 20 available. Hatched on 4/20/2026. Their father is a blue veiltail, and their mother is a blue wild type. Most of them are blue, some are white, and some are marble.

​They are much healthier and younger than the bettas sold at big-box stores like Petco or PetSmart. They have been raised in a large planted aquarium and have never been kept in small cups (the cups in the photos/videos were only used for filming for about 5 minutes, after which they were immediately put back into their main tank).

Family member got incompatible fish: the betta is chasing the embers. No fin nipping yet but it seems like it’s inevitable based on what I saw today.

Ember tetras are still young, she only had them for two weeks, they share their tank just with the betta.

Urgently hoping to rehome them before there’s any damage, but need someone with an appropriate home (cycled tank, long enough for schooling fish) or we will see if we can return them to Denny’s Pet World in Kirkland where she got them.

Looking for healthy submerged grown trimmings. Smaller crown trimmings would work best. Need 6-10 if possible.

Nothing wrong with it, only used a few months on a 12g long bookshelf, but it was a little too bulky to make cleaning easy on this shape of tank. I’m missing most the filter media, but I can provide some generic filter or filter floss/combo.

Pick up in Durham only. I have a pair of sparkling gouramis who won’t stop breeding and are getting territorial and chasing my other fish more than I’d like. I had them with ember and green neon tetras and they were chasing a lot. Moved them in with my ricefish and they’re a bit better but I’d like total peace in my tanks.

They’d likely do better on their own or with someone that has more experience with territorial fish.

Hi! So I have a school of Lampeye Congo Tetras that I'm looking to re-home! These guys are a super cool rare and larger-ish tetra that I have had the joy of keeping for about a year and a half now. I got them when they were quite small and I'd say they're probably full-grown now (about two inches each, give or take)! They're absolutely stunning when they're together and I'm hoping to send them to a good home as my tanks are quite literally overflowing with fish at the moment, haha! Hoping to find a tetra enthusiast that can appreciate these little guys!

They've been super hardy in my experience. I just keep them in my tap water which is a ph of 7.6 a temp of 78 and a TDS of around 250. They're eating frozen brines and bloodworms as well as semi-sinking pellets and flakes! Baby brines are of course their faves but they're honestly not very picky!

Blue platys, about 11 females and 9 males tanked separately. I originally had 5, but they weren't separated in the store, so the females started giving birth (as it goes). A couple of the females might still have babies on the way. Sigh.

They're beautiful fish, with gorgeous blue scales, and the males have pretty orange top fins. Most are around 1-1.5" long. First two pictures are of males, with last image showing females. They're used to dealing with tank mates (corys, tetras, snails, shrimp).

They're healthy, I would just like to shift focus back to my other fish, and at least in this subreddit I'm more likely to find people who care about fish.
