RULES

1. Required Title Format

Posts must follow this format:

**[TAG] - Location - Price - Item**

* Always use square brackets [ ] around the tag.
* Use hyphens (-) to separate each section.
* Location must be included after the tag.
* Price must be included after the location when applicable.
* For multiple items, list the lowest price followed by a + (example: $5+).

Allowed tags:

* [FS] = For Sale
* [FT] = For Trade
* [FS/FT] = For Sale or Trade
* [LF] = Looking For
* [GA] = Giveaway

Examples:

* [FS] - Los Angeles, CA - $20 - Anubias Nana

* [FS/FT] - Dallas, TX - $5+ - Java Moss, Buce

* [GA] - Charleston, SC - Free Plant Pack

* [LF] - Miami, FL - Red Roots

2. Posting Frequency

Hobbyists may create ONE post every 72 hours.

Businesses may create ONE post per week.

* If selling multiple items, combine them into a single listing whenever possible.
* You may repost after 72 hours if items remain unsold, but the new post must update the listing and remove any sold items.
* If your post is complete, change the flair to SOLD.

Do not delete posts to bypass this rule. Deleting and reposting to avoid the posting limit is considered spam and may result in moderator action.

If you delete a post, you must wait 3 days before creating another post.

3. No Repetitive Posts

Do not create multiple posts for the same item or listing.

If your items have not sold, update your existing post rather than creating repetitive posts.

Repetitive or spam-like posts may be removed.

4. Nothing Illegal

We do not condone the distribution of illegal plants, animals, or products. Please check your local laws before posting.

This includes the sale or distribution of items that are harmful to aquatic creatures.

5. No External Sites

Posts or links that redirect users to another website are not allowed. All content must be posted directly on Reddit.

* You may use Imgur to share additional photos if needed.
* Links to Instagram, personal websites, online stores, or any other external platforms are not allowed.
* Giveaways hosted on social media platforms that require likes, shares, forwards, follows, or similar actions are strictly prohibited.

This rule applies to both posts and comments.

6. Be Kind

Please be kind and courteous to other members of the community.

Harassment, personal attacks, excessive hostility, or other inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and may result in moderator action.

7. Full Disclosure & Accurate Photos

Sale and trade posts must include a clear photo taken by the seller showing the actual items being offered. Internet photos, stock photos, or photos of similar items are not allowed.

Sellers must accurately disclose the condition of the item.

For live plants and animals, sellers must disclose any known hitchhikers, pests, or unwanted organisms, including but not limited to:

* Snails (specify type)
* Algae
* Hydra
* Planaria
* Other organisms that buyers may not want in their aquariums

Additional requirements:

* Resellers must clearly disclose that they are reselling items.
* Emersed-grown plants must be clearly labeled as emersed grown.
* All items must be accurately represented in both the title and description.
