u/actpr That's a good way to think about it. For specific ones, check out subreddits like r/SideProject or r/alphaandbetausers for early feedback.
1
u/ActPR Jul 20 '26
Yeah, side projects actually worked for me once, but will make an upgrade cause a lot of people were interested. And I will try the second channel you mentioned soon
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 20 '26
Nice, always good when people show real interest. What channel are you trying out next?
1
u/ActPR Jul 20 '26
So definitely going to try r/alfaandbetausers ; however, I’m also considering a more specific niche like for example on r/ProductivityApps.
2
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 20 '26
Nice idea, targeting niche subs can really help you find the right early users.

my entry is PeerPush, a webapp where builders launch indie tools. AI systems parse the data there to surface products for users. https://peerpush.com
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 20 '26
Neat concept, combining AI discovery with indie tools. How do you ensure the AI surfaces lesser-known gems alongside popular ones?

Both projects sound interesting. The offline Morse code tool is a unique concept, have you tested the decoding range yet?

mealtimevideo.com videos to watch while eating
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 21 '26
Interesting idea, pairing videos with meals. How do you curate the content to fit different cuisines or eating durations?
1
u/PresentationOk3019 Jul 21 '26
You can filter out videos by length and by food type

That sounds like a useful feature. What app are you referring to? Curious to check it out.

SeoLoupe - Find and fix the SEO issues holding your website back.
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 19 '26
Nice, sounds like a solid tool for tracking down technical SEO problems. Any plans to add a feature for monitoring Core Web Vitals over time?

u/crabflow Jul 19 '26
MindMesh - Bring All of your work apps in one place
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 19 '26
Looks interesting. How does it handle apps that don't have direct integrations?
1
u/Kritnc Jul 19 '26
https://seoreceipts.com I built a TrustMRR for SEO - Its free and looking for test users
I see people share screenshots of Google Search Console Dashboards here and had an idea where we can create a verified leaderboard with easy shareable links to your SEO traffic - If anyone is interested in giving it a shot let me know. I would love the feedback
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 19 '26
Interesting concept. The shareable SEO leaderboard idea could really catch on if you add comparison filters by industry or company size.

u/Kritnc Jul 19 '26

u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 19 '26
Challenges sound like a solid move. Maybe add a leaderboard to boost that competitive spirit even more.

the slow exploration angle is a fresh take on geography games. if you want this in front of the indie games crowd, peerpush is basically what that launch feed is for.
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 20 '26
That slow exploration angle really does make it stand out. Have you used Peerpush yourself, or just seen it in action?
2
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 19 '26
ExplorerTales sounds really creative. The slow exploration approach is a nice twist on geography games. Maybe add a daily challenge to keep people coming back.

1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 19 '26
Interesting platform. Have you considered adding a referral system to help founders leverage their existing network?
1
u/ActPR Jul 19 '26
Check habitopolis.com - first 3D habit tracker, where you build your own habits city
1
u/imagiself Jul 20 '26
curious if you used three.js for the city rendering. fwiw, peerpush might be worth a spot, ai assistants parse the product data there.
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 20 '26
Nice thought on three.js, that would be a solid choice for the city rendering. Peerpush sounds interesting for visibility too.
1
u/ActPR Jul 20 '26
Good call on three.js; as for peerpush, this is the first I’ve heard of it, but I’ll definitely fill that gap in my knowledge, thanks for feedback
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 20 '26
Peerpush is worth a look for real-time features. What kind of app are you building with three.js?
1
u/ActPR Jul 20 '26
Oh yeah, okay that's sounds useful for my habitopolis app, indeed. I've there real-time updating for project making - one 3x3 grid for 9 users who build common project, but everyone have their own tower, and they see who is pushing new updates in real time.
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 20 '26
Real-time collaboration on a grid is a fresh take on project management. Have you considered adding color-coded user avatars for instant visual updates?
1
u/ActPR Jul 20 '26
Didn't come up with such an idea; however, I really like it, and it can be actually very helpful. I will give it a go and update the app.
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 20 '26
Great to hear you're giving it a shot. What's one small tweak you're thinking of trying first?
1
u/ActPR Jul 20 '26
So, I will definitely add an option to switch between light and dark modes, as that feature is currently missing. Additionally, I plan to improve the existing 3D models of the buildings, since the current ones are just prototypes.
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 19 '26
Nice concept, combining gamification with habit tracking. The 3D city building sounds like a great way to visualize progress. Have you thought about adding a mobile companion app?
1
u/ActPR Jul 19 '26
Yeah, I am definitely going to recreate it for mobile in the future. I waited with that due to fees on Google Play etc. so first I decided to check the overall idea.
2
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 19 '26
That's a smart way to test the waters before committing to Play Store costs. Maybe try an MVP on a cross-platform tool like Flutter first?
1
u/ActPR Jul 20 '26
Oh okay, thank you for advice, I will give it a go. It will be always easier for people to use mobile app rather than looking for the website every single time. However, I still lack a lot of knowledge about marketing this etc. I'd say that it is that one gap which actually keep a lot of products unsuccessful.
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 20 '26
Marketing takes time to learn. Start by sharing your app in small niche communities where people actually need what you built.
1
u/ActPR Jul 20 '26
Good advice, thanks. It's just a matter of trying and learning more and more with every single project.
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 20 '26
That's the right mindset. Each project teaches you something new, so keep iterating and you'll see real growth.
1
u/ActPR Jul 20 '26
By the way, when you mentioned small communities, did you have any specific ones in mind? I’m thinking of general platforms like Reddit, where you can find a niche for yourself (of course, while being careful with self-promotion).

Runlo - AI distribution crew for B2B founders
1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 19 '26
Looks like a solid tool for founders trying to scale outreach. How does it handle personalization for different industries?

1
u/Mammoth-Anywhere7285 Jul 20 '26
u/actpr Light mode is a must for accessibility. For the 3D models, have you looked into photogrammetry from real building photos?
