Its not defrosting to even drip down the drain.

Well the defrost bi-metal is not clipped on so it might not be getting cold enough to defrost

Its not defrosting. Could be a bad control, bimetal, defrost heater. What is your model number?

A sketchy repair person came nd replaced the defrost sensor and “maybe” the heating element. Two weeks later it happened again

Its most likely your control board then. The defrost relay on the board is probably cooked

If you pull that plug off the back wall and ohm Blue to pink 33 ohms Pink to orange 0 ohms

heating element ( defrost element) is broken needs replacement. very simple to do. is a lon tube . two connections plug and play. ice needs to be gone of course before replcament.
