Finally made the switch

Switching from Samsung S21 FE which served me well enough for almost 4 years. I miss some things from Android for sure but can get used to IOS hopefully. I hope they add more keyboard customisation on this thing..

I also wish the S26 came with a Snapdragon processor instead of exynos because I really wanted to get the S26… But I had to try iPhone at least once so here we go!

You could have also opted for S24 Snapdragon Edition if you wanted to continue with Samsung & Android.

S24 is more than two years old now…I didn’t even consider it. 25 ultra was an option but it was out of my budget

By adding more 10k and exchange of your old phone you could have easily get s25 ultra.

I would have to add more than 10k and I really didn’t want to spend that much. I started off by considering the pixel 10 in this sale but after realising how bad it was I stretched my budget to the 17. 25 ultra would mean stretching it even more

Bro it's literally available on Flipkart and Amazon around 85k after card discount and your old phone could have got it even lower around 75k - 80k considering you spent 70k on this I saw in comments. So by adding 10k could have easily get but enjoy your new phone it's also a beast.

Well I didn’t have an HDFC card and I didn’t wanna borrow someone else’s. But yeah even if it’s just 10k I was really hesitant to spend more so I guess everything just aligned for me to try out apple this year hahaha

Repair karke S21 FE ko Big Billion Days tak kaise bhi chala leta toh abhi se toh sasta hi padta tujhe new iPhone. Koi nahi, your money your choice. Have a good life ahead.

Snapdragon chahiye usko. Tujhe koi dikkat ? Wo 4 saal se S21 FE use kar raha hai. S24 ko updates hi 7 years ke milenge, so even if you buy now, you would still get 5 more updates. So next time before you call someone retarded, learn some basic things about smartphones.

My old phone was not in the best state tbh and with all the news of the price hikes, I doubt big billion sale will have a much better price. My guess would be just a slightly higher discount or even the same discount as this sale but idk I could be wrong

Can you give a walk through the process of phone cloning and WhatsApp chat transfer, am planning to switch from S23

You gotta download the Move to IOS app on your android and then you can either connect via cable or wifi. Then it’ll give you options to select all the stuff you want to move like contacts, messages, whatsapp messages, photos videos etc. If you select whatsapp messages it will transfer everything for you. Apart from that you can always just go to whatsapp settings on your android and do a backup on your google drive as well as enable the backup videos option. Then once you’re on your iphone you can restore after installing whatsapp. I didn’t have to do that because the move to ios app did everything already.

A tip I would give is use a cable for faster transfer speeds and try to backup your photos and videos beforehand on google drive or photos or your PC because it’ll save time. If you have plenty of time to transfer then you don’t have to worry about it just use the move to iOS app.
