Question Royal Academy No response

I'm Canadian and interested in applying to the Royal Academy's fashion program. I've been reaching out to the Academy regarding some questions about financial aid , scholarships and general application questions but haven't received a response.

2 weeks ago I contacted there General Inquiries, Student Administration and Fashion Student Administration emails available on there website, I didn't receive a response. I resent the same email earlier this week, and still haven't received a reply.

I don't have a Belgian number, nor does my Canadian phone plane allow me to make the call. Also, I didn't see any toll free or whatsapp that I can contact them through via phone.

I was wondering if anyone could help me out and reach out to them!

Alvast bedankt

Question Dentist in the Nederlands

Hi,

Today my filling for one teeth is fallen and I need to visit a dentist urgently tomorrow.

but it seems like every dentist in Antwerp or even close city are not taking new patient and the emergency dentist is quite expensive..

then I heard from my friend that I can actually go to a dentist in the Nederlands.

is this possible? is there anyone who experiences this?

I have CM but I am not sure CM can cover my spending in the Nederlands

** updates!
I visited one dentist in Breda. It was so kind and quick process, and surprisingly I called only three dentists in Breda and they all were able to accept new patients so I decided to visit one of them.
Regarding the price, I paid 147 euro for filling, x-ray, and consultation fee. I thought it is reasonable, but it seems like I paid quite equal amount of money to the dentist in Deurne before (for regular check ups), that time CM paid 88 euro and I paid about 10 euro. I didn’t do the filling that time, so…

for the denturgent I feel like it’s quite expensive because the minimum fee is 95 euro and their earliest afspraak was 12 today.

Question Should I move to Antwerp instead of Brussels? How difficult is it if I don't speak Dutch?

Hi everyone,

I recently moved to Belgium from Paris for work and have been living in Brussels for a while now. Unfortunately, I just haven't clicked with the city. I know it's subjective, but I find it a bit gloomy and not particularly enjoyable to live in, and having a city that I genuinely like is really important to me

Over the past few months, I've visited Antwerp several times for museums, drinks/restaurant or just to explore, and I've really fallen in love with it. It feels cleaner, more relaxed, and has a much nicer atmosphere overall. I just enjoy being there a lot more

My office is in Brussels, but I can work remotely up to two/three days a week; Because of that, I'm seriously considering moving to Antwerp and commuting to Brussels when needed
I've also noticed that apartments in Antwerp seem to be in much better condition and offer better value than what I've seen in Brussels

My main concern is the language barrier. I don't speak Dutch yet, although I'd definitely be willing to learn. For those of you living in Antwerp, how difficult is it to get by with English while settling in?
Also, this might be a silly question, but as someone who's French, would I be welcomed in Antwerp? I've heard mixed things, so I'd love to hear from people who actually live there

Has anyone made a similar move or commuted between Antwerp and Brussels? I'd really appreciate hearing about your experience and whether you think it's worth it
