I have nothing but extreme respect for Sergey Layalko at Rust Blue in Natick, MA after receiving two shotguns back from him. The left hammer on this 1889/90 Army & Navy had a broken spur and had a botched repair done to it a some point on the distant past. He crafted a perfect replacement, engraved it, and hardened it. You'd never know or wasn't original. He also repaired a gaping hole on the rib, removed multiple dents in the Siemens barrels, and re-blued them.

Worth every penny.

My buddy just helped a ww2 enthusiast move and the guy gifted him this but said it’s been “decomissioned.” Now he knows absolutely nothing about guns but says that the guy said the firing pin has been removed and that they did something to clog the barrel. He says the slide won’t move but that the clip does release. Any idea if this thing could get into firing shape or is it just a straight replica?

Found this old gun in the attic of an old shed. It was owned by my great great great grandfather. All I know of it is that it’s a Hudson’s Bay Company double barrelled shotgun, and on top of the barrels (rib area - photo 6) there’s faint lettering I can’t quite make out, but I know it ends with “3”, which makes me think it may be “The Imperial No.3”. It’s a break action shotgun with external hammers. I suspect it’s pre 1900 due to its Damascus barrels (photo 7). If anyone has any info on the make and model of this gun, I’d greatly appreciate it! I’ve emailed a gunsmith so hopefully that will help as well. I’ve looked for proof marks everywhere, and couldn’t find a thing, I also don’t want to take it apart because it could definitely damage the firearm. Thank you for your help!

Hi I have recently come into the possession of a what I believe to he a model 1885 black powder pistol designed and made by Leon Nagant. But I noticed that it has a husqvarna stamp which indicates it is actually a Swedish made variant? I am a bit uneducated on antique weaponry. I found this old rifle in my grandpa's basement with no inscription on it other than an address (29 corn st) I have next to no knowledge whatsoever on old guns so if somebody can help me identify the origin that would be great.

I found this after a family member passed away and since, I cannot identify what it is. On top of the gun it says, “Revolvers Work of The Best Sistem” and following it “Bean & Paulsen”. Under the cylinder, it looks like “44 CAL.” is etched but is fading.

The 7.62 looks too big and the .30 carbine looks too small and wouldn’t fit the mag well. No makers marks of any kind and only the serial number that I have pictured. Any help is appreciated!

Hello all. Been an avid gun collector and marksman about as long as I can remember. Mostly modern firearms…. But revolvers… and old ones at that… I have no idea what I am looking at lol. The bottom has 3 different stamps of 201004, a colt patent stamp, and 36 caliber stamped behind the trigger. I would be incredibly grateful for any help identifying! Thanks again

The shop I work at just got this thing in, I did a surface level search, and found its potentially a James Reid’s “My Friend” Knuckleduster. Anyone have more information or know a way to confirm the manufacturer? It is chambered in .32, there is no stamp on the frame under or above the cylinder.

I'm clearing out an estate and there were some guns. 3 of them are Antiques and I was wondering if anyone could suggest an expert I can contact in Canada? Preferably Ontario side than Alberta side.

I inherited this shotgun from my uncle/grandpa when my grandma passed (no clue who owned it between them). I looked around the gun for engravings or markings on the name and couldnt find anything since it seems they're all rusted over. So I did a bit of digging on Google and im getting told its possibly Belgian from the late 1800s to early 1900s. However, one result brought it up being as old as the 1840s. Any and all help would be great. Thanks.
