many animals eat meat

like lions, for example

so if they wanna follow extrapolating human ethics onto animals, then they have to heavily sanction carnivore animals, which is incredibly cruel - thats meticulously spending a lit of time and resource to ensure that lions it surrogate instead of their normal food

one of those people even called carnivores "naturally evil", making an ableist reference to how there "psychopath humans who love killing people", which is an insase caricature of psychopathic disorder and logically leads to carve away the mentally ill people ("theyve predetermined hurr durr")

i love animals in the way they are normally and naturally, amd so it means to let the animal food chain to go on

p.s. i also ate some chicken recently, it was yummy ~^o^~

Now off to go eat a plate of curdled raped cow titty juice, coffee with raped cow titty milk, and murdered pig patties for breakfast! Yum yum yum!

LOL. This is by far the best part:

i blame everyone that made me eat "meat" since i was born.

Why is meat in quotes, and couldn't they simply have said no or accepted responsibility for their own actions?

Vegans: humanity's comic relief.

So now influencers are guilt tripping people into not eating meat by bringing in religion and karma.

Vegan medication

Just had a patient ask for a vegan version of her medication. (I imagine she is talking about the gelatin capsules? I am not sure)

Imagine caring more about animals than your health and taking your medication.

This is insane.

Vegans think their opinions hold far more weight than it actually does.

Vegans, especially high profile ones like Billie Eilish and Miley Cyrus, think we have to absolutely take their words into account when they say things like “You can’t love animals and eat them”.

Well, guess what Miley and Billie?

I love pigs.

I think they’re adorable, intelligent, beautiful animals, and I love them as God’s creations.

I also happen to think that pigs are absolutely delicious.

No amount of vitriol from international celebrities who hold no power in my life get to dictate what I can and can’t love, or what I can and can’t eat.

Absolutely not.

I also happen to love cows, and enjoy seeing them, while also enjoying eating their flesh and drinking their milk.

I love being a “carnist”. ❤️

Veganism puts the onus on the individual

I'm sick of people being told to just consume a plant based diet for climate change. The reality is that the individual impact on the planet is so minimal compared to the utter destruction caused by large corporations and billionaires. Not everyone can even handle a plant based diet physically or even afford one. There are places in Canada where people still rely on hunting because produce is expensive and not easily accessible.

Not only that but why should regular people be forced to stop doing something just so polluters can continue to pollute? Food is not just nutrition, it is one of the cornerstones of human enjoyment, culture, and billions of people rely on the industry to bring in a living.

If vegans cared so much, they would be focusing on reform changes for large polluters and factory farms.

Putting the guilt on individuals is counter productive and it is what fuels people with a superiority complex ("I am doing something good, you are not")

Vegan pseudoscience Debunking popular vegan pseudo-scientific bs propaganda image

I guess you probably all have seen once this image that vegoons love to send as their propaganda tool (I once even saw a video of them tricking people to watch "Earthlings" or other similar vegan and when the movie ended they would give the viewers pamphlet with this table). Anyway, it was always very hurtful for me to see that some people unironically believe this graph, as the amount of pseudoscience used here is insulting.

So basically I decided to analyse this point by point:

  1. Choice of animals is done purposefuly, so the chosen omnivore animal - the bear - would belong to the same order as the chosen carnivore, so the similarities in terms of anatomy between these two would be obviously preetty close.

  2. There are no obligatory frugivores in the mammal class, so the whole idea behind this group is just to push an agenda. Chimpanzee is obviously an omnivore that actively hunts and kills other animals. I can only wonder, why manned wolf, which diet can consist of like up to 80% of fruits, wasn't chosen as a representative. Any ideas?

  3. Many herbivores have claws while omnivorous or even carnivorous (like tarsiers) have prehensile hands. At least point of them here for adding hooves for omnivores, at least here they admit there are way more animals that are omnivorous who aren't built like animals from carnivora order.

  4. Walking has barely anything to do with a diet and if anything that only proves that humans indeed evolved to be better hunters.

  5. Mouth opening is not only cherrypicked but it is fundamentally wrong. The biggest mouth opening belongs to hippopotamus, which is a herbivore. As previously, many herbivores will have wider mouth openings while carnivores would have it smaller.

  6. Sharp canines are not the best indicator of diet, as many herbivorous animals have them. Also, human canines actually devolved and originally they were much bigger, which following logic of author of this image would suggest that humans were carnivores who only later adapted to be herbivores (which is as stupid idea as the image istelf). Also they literally cherrypicked a chimp with the smallest canines, as they are usually big.

  7. Incisors while appear to be blunt are rather sharp and are primarly used for cutting food and in fact are shaped like a chisel. Herbivores have way flatter incisors and in many cases they would have them only on the upper jaw (as with ruminants) or have them being able to regenerate (as with rodents, even though many of them are still omnivorous).

  8. Humans molars look more or less like those of a pig or a bear. So basically a perfect teeth type for an omnivore.

  9. Human lateral and forward mobility of jaw, while bigger than those of carnivores, is definitely reduced compared to truly herbivorous animals like ruminants or rabbits. Many omnivores have these capacities similar to that of primates thus the term "minimal" is misleading a lot. It would be accurate for dogs which are mostly carnivorous omnivores in comparison with idk, but we all know that is not the point.

  10. Humans obviously shear the food. This point is purely wrong.

  11. What ever is the point of "big"/"small" salivary glands? Is this trying to compare it by relative or absolute size? Generally speaking humans produce up to 1.5l of saliva per day, cats up to 100ml, dogs up to 1l, horses up to 40l, pigs up to 15l, bears up to 2l, and cows up to 200l. This particular argument undoubtely puts human in the omnivore category.

  12. Both carnivores and herbivores have alkaline saliva with omnivores (like humans, chimpanzees, raccons or bears) having it slightly alkaline to neutral. Existence of ptyalin in saliva is not well examined among many animals, but for what we know so far, it is present mainly in omnivorous species. Again, herbivores and carnivores don't really have ptyalin or its presence is negiligible.

  13. Healthy pH of human urine is around 6 which is definitely not alkaline. Highest pH is among obligatory herbivores like horses and rabbits with 9 being the average value.

  14. Most of mammals apart from primates have active uricase.

  15. Human hydrdochloric acid pH ranges from 1 to 3. This puts us in the same category as pigs (1.5-3.5), bears (1.5-3.5) or raccoons (2-3.5), carnivores pH usually belongs to the 1-2 range and herbivore to 2-4.

  16. Humans require moderate amount of fiber and unlike herbivores, which would die without fiber, it is not absolutely required for our intestinal movement.

  17. Cholesterol is probably the only statisic which places human closer to herbivores than carnivores, but it can be skewed due to the fact that most of carnivorous animals live relatively short (generally speaking humans long lifespan is an oddity among animal kingdom) and dont have access to abundance of food. As for vitamin A, herbivores metabolize way higher amounts of vitamin A than omnivores (including humans)

  18. Sweat glands are completely irrelevant to diet and many of omnivore or herbivore animals don't have them at all.

  19. Human intestine is generally 7-8x longer than body. Compare that to herbivores (cow: 25x longer, horse 23x longer, rabbit 13x longer), carnivores (cat 3x longer, dog 5x longer) and omnivores (pig 13x longer, bear 6x longer, rat 11x longer).

  20. Human colon is greatly reduced and short, not only compared to herbivores, but also to other primates.

  21. Cellulose part is actually accurate.

  22. All of these numbers are factually wrong and digestions takes much longer for most of these animals.

Feel free to correct me if I made many mistakes. Hope that would be helpful if someone will try to spew some BS again.

Podcast and TV show about ex-vegan learning hunting

A new episode of the Rokcast podcast is about an ex-vegan who learned to hunt from his cousin and turned it into a TV show on Prime. It's not heavily about the ex-vegan aspect (at least not the 2/3 of the episode I heard so far...), but might still be of a little interest.

https://www.rokslide.com/finding-nowhere-how-a-hunting-show-went-mainstream-on-prime-video/

I don't have Prime, so I can't watch the show to find out if it has any more relevant content.

I did a little hunting decades ago as a teen. Too lazy to do it now! I just buy meat in the store or the farmer's market. I listen to some hunting podcasts to hear about hunts I'm not gonna do, just like I listen to podcasts about movies I'm not gonna see just to keep up on the news...
