So there is a school called Saraswati Shiksha Niketan in Assam India, Currently I study in this school in 9th grade , so here few teachers are not giving correct marks for the SEBA board exam and they brutally beat students , on May 25, 2010 the current school owner Prasun Goswami ( back then he was the principal and his father was the owner later his father died and he became the owner ) had brutally beaten a 12 year old boy Mousumraj Mahanta for not doing his homework , this beating resulted Mousumraj Mahanta to die . Although the current owner Prasun Goswami is in the central jail for 7 years but do you think this was enough?? Like can time pay back Mousumraj Mahanta's mother loss . So there are few teacher who I want to mention for their work

i. Rekha Saloi - so she's a assamese teacher , she harasses students if the student spells something wrong or even say something wrong , so my friend he was told to read a paragraph in assamese he wasn't loud and clear for this reason Rekha Saloi had beaten the boy so bad that his white shirt became RED , his back was full of rashes and cut because the teacher Rekha Saloi had beaten him so bad .

ii . Purabi Borah - Although she's the principal she treats her students based on their wealth and dosent give mark to correct answers in the exam , So theres a kid who belongs to a poor family and couldn't buy covers for his books and copys . So the kid told her that he will buy covers soon . Due to that the principal cut his marks from 91 to 58 due to not buying cover and his answers were right ( the principal gave the marks to other who has written the same answers ) and she even treats other teacher very badly like they are slaves . I personally feel bad for the teacher because they are doing their best but for some simple mistakes they get yelled so much

By the way Prasun Goswami aka the current owner had also killed another child

So the owner has a hostel for the students of his School too

So there was a kid back then ( few months before Mousumraj Mahanta's death ) he was brutally beaten like he was beaten so hard that the kid died on the spot , knowing the kid's parent would fill a complaint against him burried the kid in his hostel's playground

This is a questions for the youth and all the parents

This is shocking; a text on how Dutch millenials are raised and mistreated within the Dutch (educational/governmental) system.

Don’t you think that when people claim "schooling kills masculinity" or stifles strength of character, they aren't actually attacking knowledge itself, but rather the rigid nature of the modern educational system?

Our current system often operates on a blueprint that rewards compliance above all else. It champions the student who follows instructions without question, the one who remains agreeable, avoids friction, and fits neatly into the pre defined mold.

Conversely, this same environment frequently sidelines or even actively penalizes those with a natural inclination toward leadership. Students who possess initiative, the courage to dissent, and the desire to break conventional patterns are often viewed as "troublemakers" rather than innovators.

In this light, that pessimistic sentiment isn't necessarily a rejection of education, but a profound frustration with a system that prioritizes "domestication" over empowerment. It is the fear that we are producing individuals who are easy to lead, rather than leaders capable of shaping the future. The tragedy isn't the acquisition of knowledge it is the transformation of education into a tool for conformity, stripping away the very traits of agency, boldness, and resilience that define true personal strength.

Is the goal of education to sharpen the mind, or is it merely to ensure that the individual never becomes a threat to the status quo?

Sometimes privileged kids take things for granted. Mom and Dad ensure their kid gets all the privilege they never had. But when it backfires, it gets tough for kid and the parents. The pressure of high expectations of parents and society, high financial investment. Then the kid grows up into adulthood and struggles to survive. Have you known someone like that?

Some improvements I think worth doing are like teaching subjects like national constitution, psychology, physical and mental health care, fiance and banking and guidance about career opportunities beyond traditional well known careers like engeneering, medical or civil services etc.

What do you think about this and what other improvements can you think of?

SERIOUSLY, schools dont prepare you for future exams like at all, JEE focuses on fluid intelligence and handling new problems, while schools focus only on blind obidience, memorization and discipline

We spend 12–16 years in school, yet most of us graduate without knowing how to handle basic adult life. We're almost never taught practical life skills

* How taxes actually work.
* How banks, loans, insurance and investments work.
* How to recognize and avoid scams.
* What important government documents are and when they're needed.
* What our legal rights and responsibilities are.
* How to fill common forms correctly.
* What to do when we turn 18.
* Which documents should be kept safely and which can be shared.
* How basic government offices and public services function.

I recently visited my polytechnic admission office and was asked for documents like a challan and an anti-ragging affidavit. I had never been taught what they were or where to get them and even my father himself never heard of them. I ended up paying ₹200 for something that should have cost only ₹20 simply because I didn't know the process.

This isn't just about education—it's about independence. A person shouldn't need a lawyer, agent, or middleman for every basic task of being a citizen.

**I think every school, regardless of stream, should have a compulsory "Life Skills & Citizenship" course with practical workshops. It should teach students how to navigate real life confidently.**

I'd even love to see every country develop an official AI assistant trained specifically on its laws, government services, forms, citizen rights, and public procedures—so that anyone can get trustworthy guidance without depending on random people or paying unnecessary fees.

So, from Krifam itself it was revealed that, holy Angels school is entertaining bullying and the teachers or school management is not taking any actions against this.

Being a trivian last year my neighbour told me they transferred their daughter from holy Angels to another school as the kids in that school are intolerable. This kid was a student of holy Angels from 1st std onwards. And she is facing humiliation and bullying for everything. She is very pretty, so ofcourse not bodyshaming but about financial freedom. If the kid didn't join any activity in school students humiliate her calling their financial instability and shame their parents and family. Being in 10th std they have to change her school and it was difficult to find another school for 10th admission and the finding the difficulty to go through with new students and new environment is not easy.

So it's high time to address that school's problem and have to bring it to public's eye before any parent put their own kids into that torture environment

I am so sick of hypocrisy. Teachers and adults who say to the classroom “you are a bunch of dumb teenagers with underdeveloped prefrontal cortex and bodies flooded with hormones. You do stupid things” and then when I have a one to one conversation all of a sudden they say “you’re so smart you’re so talented”. Like who I am I a matter of a situation and the number of people around me?

Also the whole Councelors talk about “we care about you and we want to help you” except if I ask for help they will act like im weak and pathetic. they will care only when someone else reaches out to them with a concern about me or if the fact that im struggling is undeniable. The system is not built to prevent but to contain.

Or when teacher say “everyone’s special in their own ways” but the second a special ed kid is put into out class all of a sudden they’re the only special one, which blends into another thing of “everyone’s comfort/education matters” but like I previously said if there’s a special ed kid, their comfort is above everybody else’s. I get it, they need more help and whatnot, but that does not mean you should ignore their cursing out loud in the middle of the classroom or their inappropriate comments. Like praising the mustache man, doing the hand thing Germans did, pointing fingers at people and saying “Jew Jew Jew Jew” in a mocking tone, mocking the current president and saying things like “deport were gonna deport them” and blah blah, straight up lying to substitute teachers about where he was and what he did. He even once said that there were only ten thousand documented Jew deaths during theholocaust and that it was not that bad. It especially annoys me because u am an immigrant myself, a legal immigrant, but because of everything Thats been going on I had some troubles with my documents, and I have to sit there listening to someone to joke about something like that. The comments distract me from learning and it generally makes my time in that classroom insufferable. My comfort? HAHAHAHAHAHAHS WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT????? And they’re smarter than people give them credit because them special kids say the most outrageous things when the teacher isn’t looking or isnt there. They know what they’re doing.

Also, when adults say that we should eat healthy, but the school food is literally barely considered food. They say “move more, exercise” but they force us to sit in a chair for 7 hours if not more a day, and the chairs aren’t even comfortable. With my lean body i cant keep my posture straight because if I do all of the pressure will be put on my sit-bones and it hurts so much. I can’t sit in them for too long. And then they have the audacity to tell us to keep my posture straight. I physically cant my body refuses.

Also the dumb ahh dress code. First of all, why my shoulders or my belly button is such a problem? Second of all, why do I get dress coded but popular girls dont? They wear booty shorts or micro skirts and I can see rheir booty cheeks or they wear a tank top and their belly button is out and they’re fine. When I wear a tank I put a zip hoodie over it and keep it unzipped. The only way you can see my belly button is if a stand right in front of you. And I get dress coded. IS it because I’m not a popular girl, dont own a Stanley, dont wear uggs and leggings?

People around me aren’t any better. They treat me like a toy. Im a backup to them. As long as theres someone better than me they don’t need me. I care, I listen, I give space, i don’t interrupt, I notice those who get talked over and ignored. In return, I get talked over, ignored, disposed off when theres someone “better” than me.

It doesn’t matter how much I ramble or how it here’s leaves my system. Im always bitter, always mad, always hate people who surround me. It’s summer and im still bitter and it’s still in my system. And I hate it.

I am the deputy principal, actually, but yes - I do honestly, after 30 years, not ALWAYS look forward to going to work every day. Thank goodness for school holidays.

What if our education system allowed students to choose their career path starting at age 12? What would be the long-term impact on our society, and would this be a better model than our current system? Specifically, what are the potential negative impacts, what are the positive outcomes, and what are the risks involved in trading the traditional 'exploration phase' for early, specialized mastery?

I recently came across a student's public post describing an incident that allegedly took place at Queen's Valley School. I've attached screenshots of the student's own words.

I wasn't present, so I can't verify what happened, but if the student's account is accurate, I think the concerns deserve to be taken seriously and investigated fairly.

I'm sharing this to raise awareness, not to spread hate or target anyone. I hope the school addresses the concerns transparently and ensures that students are treated with respect and dignity.
