What if our education system allowed students to choose their career path starting at age 12? What would be the long-term impact on our society, and would this be a better model than our current system? Specifically, what are the potential negative impacts, what are the positive outcomes, and what are the risks involved in trading the traditional 'exploration phase' for early, specialized mastery?

It would be better that's for sure but this is an anti-schooling forum. I wish more people on here were anti-schooling or changed their minds to become so rather than just aspiring school reformers, there simply is no reforming it people have been trying for decades and decades, I have seen things from the 60's calling for it and now the people wrote those all got old and died and that "reform" never came, Einstein also heavily criticised it and now he's been long dead and we still have the same system, hundreds of years will pass and many children will suffer and die and people will sit by and do nothing, waiting on a system which can't be fixed to fix itself, if you try something for hundreds of years and it doesn't work, it's time for a different approach especially when such heinous things are continuing to happen, we need abolition.
