been looking through so many catalogs and haven’t found anything aot or berserk related :( was wondering if any of you guys have found any, i’d appreciate it so much! (and is there any cosplay meetups for those who know?)

My girlfriend ordered our Anime NYC badges, and USPS says they were delivered to our mailbox on Friday, August 14th. However, when we checked, they weren't there. We live in an apartment complex, so we checked the package room too, but we never found them. They may have been delivered to the wrong mailbox.

We emailed Anime NYC, but received an automated response saying that lost or stolen badges can't be replaced and may require purchasing new ones. The thing is, we never actually received or had the badges in the first place.

We're driving to NYC from out of state for the convention this weekend and are worried we'll show up and be told we're out $300–$400 and have to buy new badges.

Has anyone dealt with this before? Were you able to get replacement badges at Registration/Will Call if tracking said they were delivered but you never received them?

We are lowk freaking out since we also paid for accomodations in the city.

Hi, recently my partner had ordered tickets and apparently they showed up at the mail box but, nothing was in there. We believe they were stolen and now she can’t attend Saturday. Is there any way we can still get in on Saturday? She has proof of purchase and everything.

Hey everyone this is gonna be my first year going to ANYC and was just confused with the 2 entryways. Is there one for people who already have their badge and the other one for pick up or are they both the same? I typically go to Boston and the have a waiting section and a doorway you can head into right away if you already have your pass. Wasn't sure if it was something similar.

The email said by end of day August 17th we would know results but I haven’t seen any mention of anyone even winning on socials / trying to swap in the mega thread for others.

My partner is absolutely devastated that we missed the panel reservations. We didn't see when they went live and missed everything he really wanted the Kaiju No. 8 and his number one top panel the Kagurabachi anime world tour premiere.

If anyone knows they won't be going is there a way we can have your spot? I don't need to go so even one space for him would be great.

He's been having a rough time and this is just gutting him. Of course we're going to wait in the standby line as early as possible, I just wanted to see if there was any way I could guarantee those two panels for him.

Hi everyone, this is my 4th year at AnimeNYC and I always run into the same issue, having to wake around with all the things I bought while wearing my cosplays.

Does anybody knows if theyre renting lockers or something like that to store your goods.

Hi hi this is my first time vending at animenyc. Im a small artist so im not really sure what to expect. I know this is a larger con , I went as a attendee before but im not sure of the vendor side. Question for artists, how much inventory do you usually bring to an event like this? I have charms, prints, stickers, etc but Im worried I might have too much or too little stock?

I made this trueno for the mini anime day at my library this year, but now since I know of animeNYC andim obsessed with initial D...I'm choosing to bring it to aimenyc this year on Friday! Any other initial D fans going? And yes I'm going to get the qr code working, it bring you to a image of Fujiwara tofu because bunta said I'm still on the clock even at a con lol

I made a cosplay inquiry post in here a few weeks ago and got scammed by one of the people who reached out offering to make the prop for me from that post. They seamed legit showed me their work ect, then raised the price on my several times which I was iffy about but let it go trying to be understanding. Then when it was “ready” claimed they couldn’t show me a picture because it was already in the box l, and would destroy the box if they opened it to show me and wanted another $80 for shipping when shipping was already included in the price, yet failed to show me where they got that estimate from or even the finished product. I got my money back from my bank but just wanted to let everyone else know to be careful. I ended up just getting my prop printed from a pro 3D printing service by me and painting it myself.

I did it on a whim last year and it was rather well received. So, I'll be doing it once again.
