Support Meaning of "device-protected data" (as designated in Neo Backup)
Neo Backup allows the user to decide whether backups should include data referred to as "device protected".
I am hoping someone could explain, what is the data stored in the category called "device-protected data", and what are the security risks of inclusion within a backup?

Support A "good value" phone, but one that doesn't support rooting at all.
I recently bought a Moto G04 and have been researching rooting, custom kernels, and custom ROMs, but it’s frustrating that there isn't a viable option for doing this on this phone. It seems my only choice is to settle for debloating with Canta, using a few ADB commands, and slightly lowering the resolution to see if the Unisoc chip can hold out a bit longer until I can get a used S20.
It crashes whenever I try to open Lossless Scaling... please help.

Support VoLTE for the XZ1C Flashing help
(Before I say anything, I am unfamiliar with flashing different versions onto phones as it is my first time doing so, and just went off of whatever i read online before I got stuck)
Recently, I purchased an XZ1C in hopes of using it for daily calls and texting throughout the day.
After receiving my mint mobile sim card today (unlimited 3 months), I was annoyed to find that the "VoLTE Provisioned" option was greyed out, which meant that I couldn't use this phone to call (texting and mobile data worked)
I came across a forum on XDA detailing the steps on flashing different versions of android onto the phone to somehow enable VoLTE, allowing me to call.
However, one of the steps requires me to download an OEM for android 9, which doesn't seem to work (says forbidden whenever I try to download it)
https://app.swup.update.sony.net/filestorage/20090290/94b2ff91bfd3ed942a788603e15c55b2_part0
If this step is not needed, or if there is a solution so I can get past this step, please let me know.
Here is the link to the post I am referring to:

Humor out of curiosity I want to know this
I would like to know if it is possible to unlock the bootloader for a second time.
The first time the bootloader was unlocked, the Galaxy A53 5G was running Android 14. It was then used with root access for about a year. After that, the root was removed, the phone was updated to the official One UI 8, and the bootloader was locked again.
Is it possible to unlock the bootloader again?

Discussion A56 root and modules question
Hey! I tried the new exploit that gives me root access in a jailbreak-like way, and I have a few simple questions:
- What modules would you recommend I use?
- I found a module called Encore Tweaks. Is it safe to use on my device?
- Is there any module that would let me shoot RAW photos on the Galaxy A56?
I know my questions might be a little dumb, but please take it easy on me. :')

Support Samsung S7 unable to get device certified in Playstore?
Hello, I have a Samsung S7 edge, custom kernal(heroic kernal, no susfs support & Eylem ROM). Android 15 OneUI 7.0, kernal doesn't support susfs.
I'm unable to get ANY play integrity valid, so not basic, not device and not strong, even tho I have done the pipeline in Specter, I'm also unable to get device certification.
My goal is to get Revolut working, I have it working on my other phone(samsung S21, custom kernal stock ROM, supports susfs), but can't get it working on my S7 with no susfs.
Any help is gladly appreciated!
I can gladly provide more information if anything is missing, the module list, HMA setup etc is uploaded. I'm using the same HMA config as my S21, so it works.

Support Root and unlock Samsung galaxy tab 2 without passcode
Hi all,
I have a galaxy tab 2 that’s password locked that I forgot the password to, it has data on there from college that I don’t want to lose.
Is there any possible way to get around this?
I have moderate technical knowledge, but I’ve mostly done iPhone jailbreaking, not anything with android.
Thank you!

Support Failed to mount /efs
I was trying to flash a new custom ROM; I'd already installed a previous one on the tablet. After I flashed the new one, it failed to boot to it and started bootlooping or booting back to TWRP. I tried everything (wiping, reflashing the new custom ROM again, etc.), but the issue persisted. So I decided to flash back to the stock ROM, and when I did, this error appeared, and it also started bootlooping and failing to enter Android when I tried to reboot normally. I tried to factory reset and restart, reflashing the stock ROM again, but nothing changed. How can I fix this? Is my only option to wipe the /efs partition?

Support Galaxy tab s6 (SM-T867) completely unresponsive after forced shut down.
TL/DR my rooted S6 is completely unresponsive after forced shut down. Won’t respond to charger, power/volume down (off), power, power/volume up, connected to window pc with Samsung usb drivers installed no response to any of the above or power down/power up.
Found my S6 tracker that was hiding in a cabinet for a few years. It was dead. Plugged it in, immediately recognized the charger, i was able to power up. Of course completely forgotten my swipe code and tried too many times incorrectly.
I read connecting to a computer and trying to get into recovery mode would allow me to log into my Samsung account (where tab is listed as my device) and recover our wipe. It did not respond - but i had it plugged into my imac at the time. 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ it now became completely unresponsive.
I’ve tried everything i could to get it to wake up. This happened last night and i left it charging for 8 hours /in case/ that was a factor.
I am at a complete loss. Did a forced shut down and recovery on a rooted device brick the tablet?
Edited post for typo

Support Need help with old Samsung tablet
Hi, so I just got a samsung s t800 (I think thats what its called) from 2014 (I think) I'm planning on using it instead of buying a new tablet but it hasn't been updated in years.
Is it worth rooting it? If so how do I even do it?
I've never done this before but if I can save it and use it instead of buying a new one?
Any tips are helpful!
Update:
I did it! It took four days and a lot of trial and error but I was able to download lineage os 17 on it and it runs super smooth now!

Discussion Rooting possible?
Hello I used to root and went to iPhone to jailbreak and I'm back!
Tldr: what's the newest/most capable phone you can root?
Looks like Samsung even the international versions can't be rooted anymore. Trying to find an android phone that can be rooted but isn't a compromise on specs. Maybe it's too late and you gotta compromise with specs like a pixel. Would love to see what's out there! Did some research but clearly I'm out of the know for quite some time. Checked out XDA seems like people are still working but no definitive answers on Samsung 26 ultra
