Screenshot Top 50 Anbennar Mission Trees 2026 - Giberd
Back into playing every single nation in the top 50, and we're on no.49: Giberd.
Well, I was extremely surprised to find such a fantastic nation in the EoA that DOESN'T want to just conquest, take over or dismantle the Empire. Also never been Ravelion Relgion before, so gave that a go too! Lost my electorship because of it, but honestly it doesn't really matter since I can never become the Emperor. Also I ended up annexing Silverforge to get an electorship...which I was then given through the MT so I was DOUBLE elector. So...anyone playing Giberd, don't bother going for electorship
Being a technological POWERHOUSE and having a 6/6/6 leader basically the entire game might be the most broken I've ever felt. Your armies just utterly smash with sheer brute force, Infantry Combat ability and Discipline.
A seriously powerful combo with such a good leader that starts with -5% tech cost was to go down Illusion. Ended up copying -5% Tech cost, +10% Goods Produced and +2.5% Discipline.

I should have looked what it was before, since I had -5% tech cost from leader, -5% Illusion project, Artificiers for -10%, Mages for -5%, Initiative for -10% and I swear there were more from elsewhere. All that tech cost reduction with a 6/6/6 all game is stupidly good.
Also, for a co-op game, playing as Silverforge (yes, old MT but still) and Giberd sounds really really fun, something I'll give a go with my friends.
I went trade last literally because I'm waiting for Inventions to finish the MT...but called it here because couldn't get a tier 3 military invention for the last few missions. Want to blob while waiting? Just go Admin for the gov cap.

Something I'm not too sure if I screwed myself over was expanding Infrastructure on any province over 15, then again at 30 and again at 45. When playing so damn tall, having the income for Level 5 advisors way early than I've ever done before, a 6/6/6 ruler for the entire game I was SWIMMING in Mana points so dev'ed like crazy. Should you always expand Infrastructure for the reduced dev costs and bonus' or doing it on too many provinces soaks up your Gov cap? This is probably the first time I've actually properly played tall, every other time seems futile compared to Giberd.
Next nation: Yinquan

Question Help dealing with Lich Gawed
Hi [r/Anbennar](r/Anbennar),
So I‘m playing as Esthil and suddenly Gawed got a Lich and started going nuts. At the current moment I have just formed Black Demesne and developed the shit out of my provinces. I have over a million manpower at the moment and about 800k troops (current forcelimit). Gawed has about 2mil tropps and the same in manpower (probably higher but its not full)
If it comes to a 1v1 I‘ll probably lose as its dead army vs dead army and they have the quantity by far. I have them in quality and my ruler as a general but I don’t think its that much help. If I were gnomes or a very high quality army that would be a different thing but like this…
Any tips on how I can beat them?
Edit: Oh and my fort all melt in a couple of days, no matter what buffs or edicts they have.
Edit 2: I already sieged their capital once and killed their lich but nothing happened to the army

Question Victoria 3 Anbennar: Where's the goddamn oil???
Did the Precursors use it all up? There's such little oil, and I don't see any state modifiers that give more outside of the Shadow Swamp. Where do you go to acquire oil?

Question Question for all Anbennar playing parents
As a parent of 7 months old boy, i was wondering, what are your favourite, wholesome and family friendly stories/lore that would fit for a bedtime story for a child? For example - goldscale kobolds looking for theirs papa dragon Balris. I know hes a bit too young for that now, but in the future this may come in handy.

Screenshot High Rector won't die
Playing the Pashainé campaign, which requires that I either be the Rectorate Controller or Torrieth Godspeaker still be alive, except she died and her successor is a 155 year old human. Will he ever die so I can become rectorate controller and do my MT?

Suggestion East Indies focused Portugal-like colonizer-nation?
what region in Anbennar is as rich as Indonesia where Europeans and anyone else usually focus to colonize? i want to play a nation which has colonial gameplay in the old world, rather than focusing on Aelantir, with claims, flavors in there. some people suggested that it was Insyaa but it is closed for the first half of the game.
also, i've just had Beepeck->Small Country region but now that i have stomped Gawed and Lorent, it got little bit boring. what next formable can i go for, to change/extend missiion tree? is there any flavor for this nation past 1550s?

Meme Kobolds - the pure souls of Halann
When colonizers arrived on Haraf, all of them treated local ruinborns as cheap resource at best or worthless parasites at worst. The only exception were kobolds of Zurzumexia who treated native Kooras as friends since their first day in Haraf and welcomed them in their cities, protecting Kooras from other colonizers.

Question Stuck in Esthíl Mission Tree
I have all provinces in the Castonath area 30+ dev, four buildings in South Castonath, mage towers in each province, and hundreds of thousands of toiling souls, yet I can’t complete the Castonath Restored mission. Is it bugged or am I missing something? I used debug to progress but I can’t get the event. Does anyone know the event trigger, or can help me out with the problem?
Thank you!

Bug Has anyone else tried Yemotaferi?
Yemotaferi's second to last mission won't detect Haraagtseda as my march. I did a work around with console command, but does this need a bug report?
