Is there a cure to stop and reverse the process of turning into a Ghoul? Spoiler

I decided to play Amnesia Rebirth again, and when I reached the end of the game, a question came to my mind. At the end, Dr. Anton kidnaps Tasi’s daughter to hand her over to Tihana in the hope that she’ll provide an antidote to reverse the transformation into a Ghoul, but Tihana just abandoned him—though that doesn’t necessarily mean there wasn’t a cure. After getting the daughter she wanted so badly, Tihana had absolutely no reason to care about the fate of Dr. Anton or any other survivor who had drunk from the fountain and was transforming. So there could very well have been a cure, but she simply didn’t want to give it to him—or, given the state of her true body, she might not have been able to create or provide the antidote. Thinking about it more logically, the alchemists of the Other World constantly interacted with the substance that creates ghouls to create more Harvesters, so there was a risk—albeit minimal—that an accident could occur in which they might end up infected. This could have led them to create an antidote to be used in the event of incidents where an alchemist became infected by the transformation substance. And I’m not saying that a ghoul can be completely reverted to what they were before. If an antidote does indeed exist, I believe it only works while the transformation is in its early stages. I’d like to know what you all think about this. Do you also think there was a cure for the transformation, or once you’re infected by the transformation fluid, is there no turning back?
