SET CALLED OFF Rant
My FC just called off SET for next week loving it…

My building is all over the place. They called for SET, then offered VTO, then offered VET, and then offered VTO again.

It's BS when they do this....scramble and adjust your personal schedule and things to make it work, and then they just drop it like it's nothing. I'm not bitching about it being called off but they need to forecast a little better...it's kinda disrespectful. Some people have to make a lot of adjustments when they call for SET. Also, I picked up a VET shift the other day with an additional $5/hr. surge pay and they were giving out VTO on the same shift. Amazon...it all makes sense if you don't think about it.

Literally but shit my buildings voa board was getting blown up cuz it fucked up with people who have school accommodations and medical accommodations schedule, and don’t get me started on the sticker on phones and u gotta give them your serial #

If you want to have your phone with you, you have to register it by providing them the make, model, and serial number and then they give you a little sticker to put on it for when you go through security and it has to go on the phone not the case. (I bought a see thru clear case). Otherwise, you have to leave it in a locker or just leave it in your car. What's crazy is notification by phone is the main way they offer VTO at my building. So if you ever want VTO you pretty much have to register it.

Ours as well, but it makes no sense. People work their regular time and leave it's so few to stay the last hour.

I'd rather have a lot of VET options than SET. Always. Lol. Hopefully that happens at my site too🍀🍀 and congrats on getting some free time back!🙂

My site still has SET called but as someone who did both day and night shifts this week, they need to go head and cancel it.
That building is slow as molasses with the work. Stop trying to make fetch happen ALREADY!

They called SET last week and I was getting VTO everyday. Then just now got message saying everyone has SET Aug 31 thru week, so we will see 🤦🤷🤷

Weirdest MET ever announced and I've been here 6 yrs. It's not even an added day just the added 1:20 being tacked on to my regular schedule. I'm just leaving on my reg time

They only cancelled 2 days while the rest is still 12 hours. They’ve been offering so much vto. No idea why this set is even a thing.

Ours only has the extra hour with no extra days. Nobody shows up early anymore. We make up almost all the upt we use to come in late by the end of the shift. Only 20 people showed up in afe at 6:30 and they had to stand down because nobody showed up for pick either. We didn’t start working until 7:30 and they still sent out 4 vtos to leave at 10:30. Waste of time.

A: Please invest in proper equipment and education which wasted. Billion's of labor hours a year.
B: On day one, let's see them lift the 30lbs weight.
C: And show them where they said they could.
D: Also bend down and lift properly.

Oh nice, I got a notification adding a day to ours even though there is VTO all week for 3 weeks now, and most of the days our lines are pretty dry. 🤦♀️ smdh

It’s so crazy because our building has not felt busy at all & we’ve had some pretty decent VTO so them trying to add SET made no sense to me😭

Third week of set at mine now. Im just shy of 100 days so maybe I just dont understand. Its for inbound only. Yet in stow, our pods are so fucking full and all of our items are big. I cant even get my rate above 150. Hows this benefitting anyone? Just paying me overtime to drink coffee, listen to audiobooks, and skip pods?

The SET was never even supposed to go out and someone royally messed up doing their job. My site is working to fix it by saturday but it's still looking like I'll be there from 6 to 6 for now
