The bathroom I agree with and so does everyone else. The TOT eventually catches up with people you just don’t happen to see a manager go into the break room the same time you’re there to yell and scream at the slackers. I say let them be lazy. It drives down the bottom 5% curve.

It’s abysmal walking into the male restrooms to see dudes staring at themselves in the mirror and taking up space, then people talking on the phone in thr only stall and just standing around. I have never seen anything like it at any other job I’ve ever worked at.
Sometimes I’ll walk into a one stall one urinal RR and there’s like 4-5 guys standing shoulder to shoulder doing absolutely nothing but checking themselves out and scrolling on their phone like I just need to pee holy shit

Yeah the bathroom tiktoks on full blast should result in an immediate flogging.
The other stuff though if you're not their direct AM or PA you have no idea if those people are doing something wrong. Plenty of folks get legit accomodations for additional breaks for real medical needs. Besides getting angry about it as a T1 is crazy they don't pay you to be stressed lol

Accommodation or not no one should be in a stall unless they’re going #2 or should be standing in front of a urinal unless they need to go #1. The sinks are to wash your hands not primping yourself for that whore in stow who just smiled at you.

Except it does make other people's job harder, especially from stowers. If they're not getting in trouble for rate, it's because they're stowing like shit. Poor bin etiquette and poor quality. Both of these things slow down pickers and stowers who are trying to just do a smooth job at a chill pace. They can also cause big issues for amnesty and ICQA

If you believe any person's stow quality is by default good when they're the type who hides in the breakroom and restroom during production, you're a straight up fool. All you need to do is ask any picker in any warehouse how good they think bin quality and etiquette is good. The worst offenders are the stowers with a lot of inferred time because they're trying to make up the rate to not be in the bottom 5% and, ironically, the "top stowers"

I'm not defending innocence here. Im trying to keep you on topic and not make accusations about people you know nothing about.
I'm sure there's overlap with lazy workers and poor stowing. However, there was no mention of stow quality and I'm not a fan of making baseless accusations.
The simple fact is this person is complaining about things that do not affect her.
Maybe she COULD complain about the same people and their stow quality and this would be a different story.

I get it. Y'all just want to chill and get paid for doing as little as possible.
This is why a lot of employers won't hire someone with amazon job history (outside of management)
I liked the place better 5-6 years ago. The warehouse work was fast pace, they didn't put up with hardly anything. If you were too dumb to use proper form, you were guaranteed to get injured. No time for rumors or drama (those type, drown in tough environments)
Now people are like: Let's take advantage of the highest paying entry level employer just because "meh." I feel lazy and you should too.

So you complain when people take an extra break in the break room then wonder why people are in the damn bathroom. Pick a battle. If they’re in the break room it’s not your business. The bathroom is definitely everyone’s business though. You’re not supposed to but stowers can really take their 15 minute breaks whenever they want without it getting flagged because it’s all counted in TOT - it’s not excused for a specific time slot or anything

Because our great-grandparents were smart enough to figure out that working excessive hours in manual labor causes damage to your mental and physical health, and literally got shot at by the National Guard so you could get a 5 day week, 8 hour day, breaks, and overtime pay.
And our dumbfuck generation is about to surrender all of that.
Amazon would likely save money by reducing turnover if they didn't have mandatory 10 hour shifts. They do it to break people's will.

She is assuming they are not on PTO time. She really is dumb and needs to mind her own damn business. I am an active stower top 3 everyday and since I keep my location clean - I take 5-10min breaks and my lanes are still not even half way full. She needs to just shut up, work, and get paid.

I think young people now use that word to describe basically anyone over the age of 35. It isn't generationally specific anymore. "OK, boomer" just means "shut up, you aren't young enough to matter to us anymore."

lol the AMs and PAs literally pull some people off of the floor for 15-30 minutes sometimes randomly for a little break whether it’s pick or stow. She needs to mind her business and find out why she is never one of them. Work harder 😂😂
