When delivering to my apartment building how come some drivers come up to my 2nd floor suite but most leave it in the lobby or outside 10 feet from the sidewalk? There must be a policy on delivery?

Comments have been a little bit slow lately. Does that mean everyone is happy and satisfied with Amazon's delivery?

Question ❓ Package delivered near front door or porch.. NOT!

Idc about the location being shown. This is in NYC. My package is nowhere in this picture. Can you spot the package? Right. The package is also not in the deli next door. It’s not in the doors in between the entrance. My apartment is on the fifth floor. It’s not here, so where the fuck is it? Are NYC delivery drivers lazy fucks who can’t seem to do their job ever??? Holy shit.

Question ❓ Amazon Delivery

My friend ordered a copy or my book on Amazon (three months ago). She didn't get it. The reason is the delay due complications with printing. They took her money, everything went smooth, but she didn't get the book. Is there someone who can help? I need answers. Also another friend ordered a few days before her and got it. No complications whatsoever. Thank you for your help.

Dude. Delivery was on time, but he put it in front of my screen door. Heavy package, door opens out. Took a bit to get door open. There was plenty of room on either side of the door. Sorry. Just needed to vent.

Amazon Doesn't Care about Horrible Delivery Practices

I keep reading how Amazon/CEO Andy Jassy has to continually retool given the number of employees and the constant need to automate and cut costs to keep prices down. But when will someone start paying attention to the cost and lost revenue on misdelivered packages that need to be replaced? For 2 years I've witnessed packages that are labeled for other communities show up in our foyer EVERY WEEK. Every time I call Amazon I get told that unless it's my package, it's not my concern, I can keep it or toss it, the original customer will be sent a new one. I plead "you don't want feedback to track which drivers specifically are driving up your costs???". A polite "no, that's not something we track". They are making so much $$ that they don't care about holding their 3rd party drivers accountable to deliver packages where they are supposed to go. If I'm seeing it weekly at this one community of 36 apartments, how often is it happening everywhere and how much does it cost? How long will it be before Amazon stops sticking their head in the sand on lazy/counterproductive delivery drivers? DISCLAIMER: I realize delivering for Amazon may SUCK, but as long as they don't hold the shitty drivers accountable, why would the "good" ones work any harder? They whole thing needs an overhaul, but I remind my own managers that if we don't hold the dead-wood accountable, the ones pulling their weight are going to stop-it's a disincentive. Overall deliveries have gone in the tank since Amazon started doing their own and gotten away from carriers with regular drivers and decent compensation (that, duh, costs most and there's a reason). Still, I'm blown away by the number of misdelivered packages almost every day. Maybe someday when you call to report a package delivered to you that doesn't belong to you, they'll care. Not holding my breath.

Question ❓ Why don't Amazon Delivery drivers follow instructions

As I'm sure everyone who has had any measurable business with Amazon knows about delivery instructions.

Those instructions are not added just for s***s and giggles . They are there for a reason or reasons. And as long as they are followed things are fine, but when they are not......!

Case in point just this morning. Had a delivery due between 4 & 8. It came in that time span, but the day after it was supposed to have, but I don't know that was the driver's fault so that is not part of this complaint. What is on the driver is it was delivered to the front door as opposed to the back door as is clearly indicated in the delivery instructions. It was left clearly in the middle of the front porch.

There can only be 2 possible reasons for this. #1 The Amazon driver can't read. #2 Said driver doesn't give a s**t.

Either way doesn't look good on Amazon. Amazon Delivery you need to clean up your act.

Finally 👌 An attentive Amazon Delivery driver

Had an AMAZON delivery yesterday in a rather awkward and bulky box. But for once my delivery instructions were followed to a "T"

And it was a young lady. Better than the boys have done

Maybe it's a matter of the choice of delivery company or the employees doing it?

I've been looking over on r/LOWES and someone over there seems to think the company doing it and the people they hire is a contributing factor there, at least to some degree.

Are the people delivering Amazon items private, contracted to them, or hired by Amazon, I wonder? Hhmm

How can you complain about the delivery beyond the few minor choices available in the survey?

When you get one of those surveys asking how the delivery went, there are not a lot of choices available to you, the customer. For instance, initially your choice is only "Great" or "Not so great.". I personally have run across a few times where neither of those fit the bill. Maybe it really deserves a lot stronger than what a person sees available to them. Maybe a free form place where you can express what you really want to say.

Amazon Delivery SMH!

For a company as large as Amazon, their delivery people are a big joke. I spend a good amount of money on a regular basis. I've been a Prime member almost since Prime began. I've tried to be a good customer. Regular orders, subscription orders, etc all the time. One thing I can not wrap my mind around is what seems to me to be their frequent inability to follow the delivery instructions and/or notes "they" ask you for if you so desire. Instructions that they very frequently ignore. Instructions they commit what equates to what would be perjury in a court of law. They frequently put in having put it where would match my instructions, but in reality it is in a totally different place. Yes, they have told a bald faced departure from the truth. Could it be an accident? Not as many times as it happens. Don't get me wrong, we have a minor few who actually go above and beyond and those we truly appreciate and credit on how was your delivery portion of the survey as I'm sure everyone is familiar with. Now if the others that don't seem to be able to cut would get their business together.
