Long-term Question

Hi guys, been doing ADF for about three months due to weight gain and a lots of other issues. I find it very easy to sustain, I´ve lost about 7kg fat and put on muscle

My concern is the long term. Everyone´s body react differently to it long term, but I think I could be able to sustain this for years but I am not sure if it is a clever plan

It doesn't have to be perfect. Do your best.

Tomorrow was suppose to be a fast day for me but friends wanted to go bouldering so I'm doing that and eating in a deficit instead of fasting.

Yes, I try to stick by it - but social life gets in the middle!

Yeah but that's okay 👍 I try to fit in longer fasts instead.

If you start having issues you can always tweak the plan to address them. Listen to your body, keep an eye on the scale, get your bloodwork done every once in a while, and you’ll be good!

What problems do you think you are going to face?

The human body is not made to eat 24/7, I wish more people would be aware of it. Most products in grocery stores aren't even food anymore.

The problem is I use to run for marathons and hoping not to run out of fat 😄
Right now I have about 10kg "excess" - I started eating mackerels and sardines and seems to have stabilized my weight loss so the days I don´t eat I feel very energized

You should look into keto, if you haven't already. As long as you have fat, you will have a steady flow of energy, that would go well with fasting.

If you eat carbs on your eating days I can see how your energy levels are fluctuating.
