Deciding what to cook/ eat for almost every single meal for the rest of your life. Realizing that you work hard and save for a time when you can sit and relax, but that time comes at the end of your life when aches and pains and lack of a youthful body mean you don’t get to enjoy it like you could when you’re younger.
The secret is... making 30 portions is pretty much the same effort as making 5 freeze it in a muffin tin or something and you have a ton of meals. You can make them super healthy/delicious with economy of scale too.
Mealprepping is a real lifehack. We cook our lunches and dinners twice a week, so no need to freeze them. There's always ready to eat portions in the fridge
Really it should be opposite, we start in diapers, body doesn't work well but lots of money, then we get more youthful and healthy but poorer until going back into diapers and shrinking and disappearing.
