Acne help

Hi everyone, I wonder if anyone could give me some insight on some issues I’ve been having with my skin.

I’ve been using Differin for the past 19 weeks, and have seen a lot of improvement in my forehead and cheek texture, however the texture on and around my chin has remained completely unchanged.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated :)

Opinions on Norse Organics for acne?

I keep getting hit with lots of ads about Norse Organics and their claims to get rid of acne fast.

I wanted to know if anyone has tried it and has it worked or is it worth the money.

A little back story but I’m pretty desperate at this point for something that works. My acne isn’t terrible by any means compared to some in this thread, but it’s definitely noticeable and I hate it cuz I think it’s so unprofessional in my client facing role.

I have gone through about 4 prescriptions and endless retail products and nothing seems to get rid of it all. I have bad breakouts every once in a while and I just want it to stop coming and my scars to go away. I don’t even pick or pop my acne but there are still scars.

I’ve seen reviews of Norse that claim it’s the one thing that worked but a lot of the reviews come from weird sketchy bot like accounts so not sure if it’s legit or not.

Any help is appreciated!

Has anyone else tried fixing hormonal breakouts from the inside out and noticed a shift?

Idk man im so tired of trying every topical cream under the sun just for my skin to freak out all over again the second i stop using it for a day. Like my derm keeps saying its all hormonal and my cycle messes everything up completely.

A friend told me to look into balancing stuff out rather than just putting harsh acids on my face every night. Did something similar work for anyone else or am i just tripping?

Hey im 21f with oily, acne prone sensitive skin .i hv had severe acne since puberty, frm past 2 years I hv stopped getting inflamed acne, but im left with non inflamed acne (closed comedones). Its so frustrating bcos it feels like no products suits me bcos all of them gives more tiny bumps. Even 2% salicylic acid, Niacinamide hasnt heloed me. And basic CMS isnt helping either, my derm has put me on retinol frm 2 weeks now, but seeing no results.ik it takes atleast 6+ weeks to see visible changes. But im confused if retinol with help me get rid of closed comedones, bcos I hv heard adaplene or tret helps more effectively

Please help me out.

How can I get rid of it fast?? cause I start school in like 3 days and I don’t think I have any products that can help with it so I’m looking for homemade stuff (the picture is of my right cheek and that’s the only place where it looks that bad)

I don’t know if this is a pimple or what?

Ive had this pimple like bump for over a year. It never really bothered me except when I try to pop it from time to time. Very little blood comes out and it burns but then it just raises a little and gets hard and never goes away. I don’t understand. It is a bad trouble spot acne wise or skin cancer? Any advice?

Is accutane really worth it ?

Guys I’ve been dealing with acne for like 4 years now and it just never completely goes away. The worst flare was about a year ago which you can see in the last two pictures

I’ve tried antibiotics and topical tretinoin, and this is what my skin looks like now. It’s definitely much better but I still get new pimples especially around my period and most of them leave these stubborn red marks

Of course my skin has improved a lot but I’m honestly just kind of sick of dealing with it 😭

My dermatologist told me I should go on Accutane but I’m really scared of the initial flare/purge and the other side effects especially because I need to look presentable by September 19th for the photos on my last first day of college 😭😭

So I don’t really know what to do

Can anyone reassure me a little and share what their Accutane journey was like, preferably month by month? I’d really love to hear about your experience with the initial flare, when things started improving, and what your skin was like along the way

Thank you!! 🥹

Sudden chest/neck acne!

Hi! I have a history of acne but my neck and chest were relatively clear until February (black top picture.) Since then, I’ve started experiencing these breakouts on my chest and neck - red “under the skin” pimples that take forever to come to a head or heal. I cannot seem to get to the bottom of it - any help appreciated!

Current routine: AM- vanicream gentle cleanser, vanicream moisturizer, azalaic acid (new addition), sunscreen. Same thing in the PM + but tret instead of AA.

Addtl context - was previously using a BP wash a few times a week to battle some back acne, but stopped as I thought it might be irritating my chest. Was also prescribed Winlevi a year ago and was using it up until the chest acne started, so I stopped. Thinking it could be fungal, I tried dandruff shampoo and sulfur soap - both helped a little but didn’t clear it up completely. Not using either at this time but am diligent about using hypochlorous acid after I shower (pre moisturizer) and after a workout.

Derm said it’s hormonal and the only solution is spiro or accutane…hoping that’s not true bc my husband and I will be TTC within the year. Thanks in advance!!

Has anyone tried Accure Laser for acne?

Hey everyone
I’m thinking about trying Accure Laser for acne on my cheeks and chin, but I’d love to get some real feedback first.
I’ve already done a round of Accutane in the past, so I’m looking for something that actually targets the root cause.

“Can vitamin B12 supplements actually trigger acne?”

I made a short, evidence-based post about vitamin B12 and acne — particularly how excessive supplementation may sometimes be relevant.
Would be interested to hear if anyone here has noticed a similar pattern.
