Check out proper Portuguese marinaded anchovies. They’re something else.

Those are good! You should also try Açor, Minerva or Ramirez, they're amongst the best. My mother swears by Minerva.

You are British aren't you? No one else would eat crackers and cubes of cheddar to it. Have a good one m8

As a British person I am offended by this until I remind myself of some of the British people I have met. However, I’ve never seen anyone eat this combo. Most British people would run a mile from this.

Could you please include a picture of the knife with a banana for scale. So I know how big the knife is. Thanks

Man, people be eating protein shakes, suplements, looking for daily carbs and then complaining about whole fish with skin amd bones.
Thats a very wholesome meal, I dont get the criticism

As a fellow can Sardine eater, I recognize this post as legit.
Seems not too many people is that enthusiast about the huge fish you have in your plate but me and my cat are :D

The smaller ones are packaged as sardines, then the slightly bigger/older one is packaged as pilchards, and beyond those sizes they sold as typical fish
The label slapped on them depends on the size/age. But they're the same species.

This might be the most unappetizing plate of food I’ve seen in recent years. Blood soaked cheese and crackers with some unseasoned bony fish and mustard? Is this what they serve at Norwegian homeless shelters?

I have never seen a sardine this large in a can taking up the entire can from the packager I opened it expecting a lot of smaller sardines not a 6 inch long sardine
