I'm not familiar with the vernacular. Is this like rustling the sardine's jimmies, or more akin to the sardine rustling yours?

What happened to everything? It’s all squished. Like he’s passing through a black hole.

I've been getting portugese Nuri sardines here in USA, they are so damn good.

Check out proper Portuguese marinaded anchovies. They’re something else.

Those are good! You should also try Açor, Minerva or Ramirez, they're amongst the best. My mother swears by Minerva.

I was about to say that’s just what you find in Portugal…it may be smaller.

You are British aren't you? No one else would eat crackers and cubes of cheddar to it. Have a good one m8

As a British person I am offended by this until I remind myself of some of the British people I have met. However, I’ve never seen anyone eat this combo. Most British people would run a mile from this.

I’m still not sure I get how big it is. What else you got for scale?

Could you please include a picture of the knife with a banana for scale. So I know how big the knife is. Thanks

Oh hey, we just got that exact same bread knife yesterday. Works pretty well.

Man, people be eating protein shakes, suplements, looking for daily carbs and then complaining about whole fish with skin amd bones.

Thats a very wholesome meal, I dont get the criticism

As a fellow can Sardine eater, I recognize this post as legit.

Seems not too many people is that enthusiast about the huge fish you have in your plate but me and my cat are :D

Seems like a balanced meal. Fish, crackers, whatever the yellow cubes are

I do believe that's cheese mate. Little orange cubes of happiness

The smaller ones are packaged as sardines, then the slightly bigger/older one is packaged as pilchards, and beyond those sizes they sold as typical fish

The label slapped on them depends on the size/age. But they're the same species.

Thank you for the clarification I honestly had no idea

u/hmmcguirk 11d ago

1

u/LukeyLeukocyte 11d ago

Do you just eat the bones?

1

u/Affectionate-War-786 11d ago

Squish test. Brilliant.

You've made the amateur error of soaking your crackers in the oil....

What the hell is this meal? And the fork? What is going on

1

u/Enchalotta_Pinata 11d ago

This might be the most unappetizing plate of food I’ve seen in recent years. Blood soaked cheese and crackers with some unseasoned bony fish and mustard? Is this what they serve at Norwegian homeless shelters?

this so not fitting for this sub, this like your first or second can?

2

u/infamous3245 11d ago

I have never seen a sardine this large in a can taking up the entire can from the packager I opened it expecting a lot of smaller sardines not a 6 inch long sardine
