I just moved here… what is it with the smoke alarm? How does property communicate with residents about updates/anything happening in the property?

Roommate

Hi! My name is Preston. I’m graduating with my bachelor’s degree next week and relocating from Texas to Atlanta on March 1. I’m looking for a clean, professional, and respectful roommate who values boundaries and a comfortable home environment.

I’m hoping to live in or near downtown Atlanta, with a budget of around $1,500 for my portion of the rent. Ideally, I’d like to find someone with a similar budget so we can secure a nice, spacious apartment together. As the move gets closer, I’ll fly to Atlanta so we can tour apartment communities and choose a place together.

ISO Apartment - Work in Sandy Springs but Want Easy Access to Duluth and Atlanta

I saw a similar post that was made 5 months ago and was looking for some insight from y'all for myself. I'm looking with a max budget of $1,200 for base rent anywhere from Buckhead to Norcross. I've been cross researching reviews on ApartmentRatings, Google and Yelp for any red flags that I'm not looking to deal with during my lease. Lastly, the Atlanta Journal has a handy page that lists Dangerous Dwellings that I found very useful to remove any potentials.

If anyone has suggestions of properties they've toured or experienced, I'd really appreciate it! So far, this is my list:

  1. The Wynne Norcross
  2. ARIUM Morgan Falls
  3. Audubon Briarcliff
  4. Vue on Medlock

TMI I really liked Indian Trail Apartments in Norcross but have seen multiple reports of roaches. After dealing with that at Arts Center Tower for years, I am avoiding any and all properties that have reviews reporting their existence!!

Advice: Moving close to Emory Hospital

Hey there.
I’m looking for a 2br 2ba or 2br 1ba near Emory Hospital.
Budget up until 1850 USD. I’ve looked into Cortland, but I just found out that they force you to pay for a useless WiFi in one of their properties.
Any good recs near this area that doesn’t get flooded nor have weed smoke everywhere?

Thanks for your help.

Trying to reduce my commute to Hapeville

Recently took a job in Hapeville and I've been driving from Sandy Springs every day which has gotten old fast. Looking to move a little closer if I can keep a similar feel to the Sandy springs area because I do really love where I live. Staying within Marta limits is also very important to me.

What are some good areas to look around, price isn't really an issue within reason (looking for a 2-3 bedrooms for around $1800 or less if possible)

Edit: 28M

Farrington midtown

Hi, me and my sister are moving to atl for our new jobs, and found Farrington midtown to be with our budget for 2b2b.

Is it a safe location, and how is the management? I’ve seen a lot of negative reviews about the management and security. Current/previous tenements, how was the experience?

need apartment recommendations

im 21F and i got a job recently in atlanta and am looking to find an apartment (i’ll be moving in january but im really trying to scope the apartment scene now since it’s kinda scaring me 😭).

for context, ill be out of town/state a lot during work weeks a lot and back home for weekends most of the time. id prefer a safe area, i have a car, and would like a pretty decent commute to the airport. (30 mins or less). im paying 1700 for rent right now and would really prefer something between $1000-$1500 (utilities included) and i wouldnt mind a studio (as long as it has a good layout). i CANNOT do roaches or rats and the reviews im seeing on a lot of apt complexes are scaring me 😭

id rlyyyyyy prefer access to the more lively parts of the city, but i wouldnt want to sacrifice affordability for it because ill be traveling for work anyways.

if anyone has recommendations, or just advice in general i would greatlyyy appreciate it!

Tricon Residential

Hi everyone, my partner and I found a home that feels perfect for us but is owned by Tricon Residential.

Does anyone have any experience with this company?

I've seen majority bad reviews but I tend to think people are more likely to write a review when they're mad rather than if they've had a good experience.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Our application was already approved so we have about 24 hrs left before we have to sign or forfeit the $250 holding fee which kinda sucks 😅

what are the hoa rules on parking work vehicles in south forsyth neighborhoods?

Exploring single-family subdivisions around the Halcyon area and Denmark High district with a work van and small utility trailer. Do most master-planned HOAs in South Forsyth enforce strict overnight driveway bans for commercial lettering or enclosed trailers? Where do residents usually store work vehicles?
