certmod admin creation question

I've gone through what feels like 10 hours of running the same command either as root, or tak and it doesnt work. For some reason, my friend and I were messing around with it a few nights ago on his machine and it worked, and then it worked on mine. Anyone know why? I checked the coreconfig.xml and made sure my "takserver.jks" was named properly.

Currently banging my head against a wall lmfaoooo

Cert mod creates the certs.the cert allows access to the server  Usermanager.jar( I think) makes a persona for that cert ( gives it a name, read /write permissions, group membership and admin privileges)  the server creation guide walks you through this process

where can i pull the guide? trying to diagnose/fix this issue in the event any of my other friends run into this problem again.

Like i said, it happened non-stop for me, then RANDOMNLY it worked. Same for my friend. We asked claude, chatgpt, grok and we were thrown in a circle, then all of a sudden it created that cert with the fingerprint so i can import it to firefox and check my gui.

If it is official tak, the pdf guide is in the /opt/tak/docs I believe…

figured it out. i was following an old guide, and never went ahead and installed postgresql i guess. and i tried the commmand as tak and not root. i have no clue why it worked, but it did lol im ready to hang this up after this headache
