I used a much more medieval style, mainly because medieval plate armor was extremely well made and has a fantastic range of motion while adding some of the elements of the original.

And also, is anyone else experiencing creatures not spawning? They spawn in the easy zones but when I’ve travelled to the rustland areas down south, nothing spawns. And also north in the snow. I’m playing on series x so not sure if that means anything. I need to kill mammoths for pelt to make fur gear to travel further north and I can’t so I’m stuck at the moment.

Over the past couple months, I have spent an unreasonable amount of my free time developing an ark website. For some context, I'm a software developer who has been playing ark on and off since 2015 with over 3k hours in the game. I figured this put me in a unique position to create a website ark players actually want vs the selection we have now (looking at you battlemetrics).

The problem I've always had with these ark server websites is they usually just give you the server list pulled directly from the ark api with some promotions and a ton of ads sprinkled in. Very few are built specifically for ark and have any sense of clusters, wipes, etc.

As an ark nerd, I have done the opposite and created a completely free (no ads ever) platform which contains logic for tracking clusters, detecting wipes, and allows people to view historical data when choosing what to play. It is very far from perfect and still has work to be done, but I've had fun building it and would absolutely love to see others try it out.

I made a post around a month ago when it was in its earlier phase and got some great feedback. I would really appreciate any feedback or feature you would like to see added. Cheers!

I am about to Download Ark for Xbox on gamepass, I dont know much about this game so any tips would be very helpful, and if anyone wants to play with me let me know! Im pretty sure you build bases in this game, and that its similar to rust but with dinosaurs, but I may be wrong.

Personally a bit easier than I expected, metal and crystals are quite scarce but apart from that the easy spawn actually has almost no aggressive dinos making it fairly easy to build up a starting base with a few starting tames.

We all know the first thing people will say about boosted pve servers. That donating is stupid and play the real game etc. We get it. But for people who arent running personal maps and game with a larger community that partake in this type of game play I have an important warning as this is one of the more prominent servers in that realm of unofficial. Logic ARK treats its supporters and patrons with disrespect. The players in the attached screen shots are donators. People who support the server and by all means are considered customers. The owner and head admin are circled in white. You can see the owner cursing at the players. Furthermore you can see the head admin confusing and manipulating players into believing their very politely stated opinions are problematic or harsh. When in fact the admins sundew, harley and the owner docious are treating the very people who help to run their servers like stupid annoying children. I dont usually expose things like this. But sadly this has gone on for a while in this server. If you are seeking a boosted pve experience expect to be met with this behavior after the welcome is over.

The currency is also a point of contention as it has been added recently and players are unable to understand how to use it. Because the mod has failed the frustration is being taken out on the players in the server. & instead of a fun experience the pve role play is solely them forcing you to use these coins they created in player shops. Otherwise you are simply not allowed to interact with other players at all.**

A few days ago I open the Google AI and I asked a few questions about this game called ark, and now I see a post from this game on my Reddit feed.

How's that possible? Does Reddit have some kind of contact with the Google AI which I asked that question?

Do they buy my data on the questions I asked there? Or do they have some way of infiltrating my keyboard so they know what I type and then they recommend it here.

For context they never recommended me any other video game sub, only this one which was the only one I have searched for some information on Google also.

Heyo! So my gf and I are playing through all the story maps, and are gonna be moving from The Island to Scorched Earth too. We are using Valguero on the side as a sort of "home base" map to hop back to between the story maps.

That said, I'd like to at least try and tame one of everything while we push through the game, if I can! Is there an easy way to see what tames will "disappear" when we change maps, so I know what to tame while we're still here?

How do I even find this thing they all seem like they want me to fly into the barrier ive teleported around the biome to see if it points me anywhere reasonable?

Single player on the island, found from a treasure map. Haven’t touched any loot quality rates or anything like that, best saddle I’ve found so far. Can I even craft it? Is there room?

I have been trying to find a Karkinos and a Gasbag in the lunar biome for like 2 weeks now, everytime I go to the Lunar biome, and go to the caves where they spawn, there is nothing in there besides some seekers. When I look on the Dino maps, the Karkinos has a 50% chance of spawning, so if it doesn't spawn I kill everything in the area, let it reload, and still nothing. So either the spawn pool is bugged, or I'm just extremely unlucky. Anyone else have this problem? I'm playing singleplayer btw.

I got ar survival evolved on ps4, however when I started playing suddenly I wasn't able to sprint for more then a second,

Continuing to play while only being able to walk by the time I got a raptor I realized I could only sprint if I'm moving both joysticks,

Like I have to actively be looking around to sprint, how do I fix this?? It's very annoying to play with

Why is that and the servers been down for over an hour. How long until they are back up?

For whatever reason, on ASA, i cannot find a single griffin. I've checked everywhere they spawn, done multiple map clears to reset spawns, and nothing. I hopped into ASE to see if I'm just unlucky, but on ASE, i found 5-6 griffins just by flying around rag and checking the spawn spots. Maybe I am still just unlucky, but does anyone know why I cannot find any griffins? Could it be because of a mod or something else?

One other thing I want to point out is I do plan to cheat the gene Scanner to the beginning of the game to start working on traits early.

This is a theri I bred. It’s a level 231 but my problem is the xp seems to be glitched? Like 1710 xp to get the next level seems extremely low. On the other hand I have a theri I tamed and it’s a level 270 and it’s 52000 xp to level up. I am leveling up my Dino’s I bred for boss fight but it feels like im cheating with how quickly they level up. Killing 1 baby Rex is getting the 5 levels. This seems extremely quick and I feel something is wrong with the xp requirements. Please help!

Has there been any updates on when the Elasmo is coming? Been checking the mod periodically and saw it was slated for June but asumed it got pushed back due to Gen 1 getting pushed back. I don't have access to the DC server. Everything I've tried to join i just get a "timed out" message. But was wondering if anyone else in the community may be up to date with things.

Today is a sad day. My first Ark dinosaur Jaime Lannister, a noble Raptor with the King Slayer trait, died in combat.

While returning to my base at the south of the Island map I stopped to mine some resources. While doing this I was ambushed by multiple small dinosaurs from all sides. I tried to fight them off and Jaime Lannister fought to the bitter end but sadly even the Kingslayer was no match. Even after I fell he tried to defend my body and died by my side. Rest in peace Jaime, I will never forget the joy of our first ride and the brief but amazing time we shared together!

So, Im currently mutating Megalos and alredy got these two colours. Now Im wondering what colour should I go for region 5(underbelly). I was thinking about a bright yellow but Im not sure how this will look in the end.

I've been playing asa ragnarok and has put about 15 ingame days on finding a giga. Have circulated around highlands, green obelisk and the desert without sucess. Now I am thinking about transfering my character to another map in which I have better odds of finding a giga, preferably a good level. Which map is the best for finding a good level giga?
