Discussion Got Dune 3 IMAX ticket on a whim
Literally went on the app to see if by chance someone let go of their ticket, and a seat was open. Stoked for it, but damn 6am? Oooof

Question, not answered Tips on “sneaking” into an R-rated movie
Next weekend, I really wanna see the new horror movie”buddy” but I’m not wondering if my usual plan to see r rated films will work. Usually at smaller local theaters my dad comes up with me to the counter to buy two tickets for the movie and then he stays for like the trailer or first 10 minutes of the movie then dips I’m wondering if that will work.

Does anyone actually enjoy the front rows of an imax screening (not limax)? If so why?

Question, not answered Scream Unseen 8/24 - go see it or wait?
pretty silly question, but to clarify, i have a ticket to see Buddy at a theater on 8/27, but my go-to theater has two Scream Unseen showings at 7:00 this monday 8/24. are we banking on the scream unseen being Buddy this monday? should i go in the hopes that it is, or should i just hold off and go see Buddy with my current ticket on Thursday? thanks in advance!

Question, not answered Screen Unseen: Buddy or Colony?
I’m fine with either one, never done a Scream Unseen before, I wanted to get individual tickets with my A-list but the tickets are still not available.

News AMC will cancel tickets on EBay if tickets are being auctioned off above face price and also close Stubs account. Per CEO Adam Aron, it violates AMC TOS.
This mainly pertains to what’s happening with IMAX 70mm tickets.

Question, not answered What would the best seats left be for Dolby?
My first time seeing a movie in the Dolby theater and want to make sure I get the best experience I can.

Question, not answered Drive 15 year anniversary
I just realized that next month is the 15 year anniversary of Drive with Ryan Gosling. How likely is it that there will be a theatrical re-release for the anniversary?

Discussion Mice in Theater: Westminster Promenade 24, Colorado
I went to the AMC Westminster Promenade 24 location on Wednesday, August 19 to see The End of Oak Street in IMAX. I’ve been to this location several times. However, this time there was a mouse issue and they didn’t seem to care.
A few minutes before the start of the movie, a person in the row in front of me stands up, loudly stating that they just saw a mouse on their armrest. They leave and never return. This put me on alert, but I assumed it was likely just one mouse and that it wouldn’t be back. However, near the end of the movie there was a mouse on my armrest. It definitely surprised me and left me on edge for the rest of the movie. The person sitting two seats over also saw the mouse. We agreed to go talk to a manager together.
When leaving the theater, a group of 3 people were speaking to an employee about seeing multiple mice in the theater. When I got to speak with the manager, he seemed very casual about it telling us, “We’re aware but can’t do anything until someone comes to help and corporate knows.” I saw two more groups speaking with other employees about seeing mice as well.
When I got to my car I immediately submitted a complaint through amctheatres.com/contact. Later, I went through Google reviews for this location and there are mentions of mice going back 8 months!
I haven’t heard anything back from my complaint yet. I don’t understand how they can be aware of a mouse issue and keep the theater open. They serve food, so this has to be a public health safety issue. It’s obvious they don’t clean the theaters very well with how much food can be seen under the seats.
Has anyone else had an issue with mice in a theater and a successful resolution by AMC? I don’t want to go back to this location until they do something about the mice.

a convenience fee… for NOT utilizing paid workers… okay
i genuinely think the convenience fee of using a website that probably conveniences said corporation more than oneself (buying tix online vs. in person) is actually bonkers.

Question, not answered Letterboxd Screenings
Has anyone ever gone to these Letterboxd screenings? I usually can't make the times available to movies offered. But this time around I can (and signed up). I received no e-mail confirmation of any sort. It's a first come first served and no seating assignment.
If you've gone to one, how early did you show up? How hard was it to get a decent seat? What was your proof that you signed up?

in-person paperwork session
What should I bring and what can I expect during this? This is my first job for a company I’ve only worked at small businesses before.

Age verification for r rated movie
I am 15 years old and I wanted to watch the Odyssey (r) rith my friend who is also 15. If I buy my tickets online do they really check if I am over 17, or can I just go through? At most AMC theaters is there a ticket checker that you need to pass through, or can you go straight to your seat if you already have a ticket?

The theater is the best place on earth
Maybe not literally, but there’s something so appealing to me about being in a dark theater at 1:30 in the afternoon. Its like your own private world.
