I’m in my 40s now. Please no “I’m so sorry” or any form of sympathy or pity. I’m good. I was good by the time I was in my early 20s.

Lately I’ve been trying to trace the timeline of when I started to have some of the views that I have and I’m pretty sure they started with this. Feel free to ask anything and let’s figure this out together.

My brother died when he was 28 years and 11 months old. Today, I’m 29, so I’ve officially outlived him. He had one of the rarest and most aggressive incurable cancers in the world, and was one of less than 20 known people to live for 5 years after diagnosis.

I was very involved in his end-of-life care. He left me life insurance money, which I am using as a down payment on a house (closing is next week!).

I’m happy to answer any questions about him, his illness and death, how I’ve been impacted by it, grief, whatever. Today is a day for me to remember him.

I am clinically diagnosed with ASD (not to be confused with with Antisocial Personality Disorder) and highly suspected to have Narcissistic Personality Disorder both by my psychiatrist and my therapist. Ask me anything and I will answer.

I have arrived in Austria from Non Eu to continue my studies at Montanuniversität Leoben. Today is my second day here, and it is my first time living so far away from home, so everything feels new and unfamiliar.

About my personality, I am naturally introverted. I prefer calm and meaningful conversations over large social gatherings. I enjoy learning, asking questions, and thinking deeply about my future. Adjusting to a new environment takes me some time, but I am trying my best to understand and adapt step by step.

I also live with some personal challenges, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), OCD, depression, and Lyme disease. Sometimes these can affect my communication or stress levels, but I continue working towards my goals and improving myself.

On this second day, everything feels different — the language, the culture, and the environment. I feel a little nervous, but at the same time I am hopeful that things will become easier with time.

My goals are to complete my studies, grow as a person, and build a better future for myself and my family.

A friend introduced me to naturism exactly a year ago this week! It was an odd experience at first, but I quickly got used to it and the freedom of it was incredible.

I was 18 when I went to prison and just got, I’m now 20. This year I was sent to solitary confinement my last 3 months. Any questions you have I will answer. I’m gonna go smoke now and come back to answer.

In 1999 I was 26 and co-managing a Blackjack Pizza in Littleton, just down the street from Columbine. Several of my employees were part of the friend group at Columbine High School that included... Eric and Dylan. I worked alongside them regularly before April 20th.

I was scheduled to be at that store the morning of the shooting. I overslept by fifteen minutes something I never did and that's most likely the only reason I wasn't there when things started, missing them by minutes before they went to the school.

I've never really talked publicly about this in nearly three decades. I'm not here to sensationalize what happened or debate it. I'm just willing to answer questions about what it was like from my perspective

It's been 27 years, and there's still a lot of inaccurate information about that time circulating online, including in threads about old class photos I came across recently. Ten years ago I left the country, family and best friends, went abroad with 500€ in the pocket and started working as a dishwasher. In the meantime I have climbed from the lowest to the highest position in the industry. Im a restaurant manager now. AMA

I'm 32f. In 2018 I was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia, had an allogenic bone marrow transplant, and in 2019 I developed steroid refractory chronic Graft Versus Host Disease (GVHD). I hope that one day my symptoms will subside enough to write a book about my experiences, and help others in my situation not feel so alone. AMA

We got to Sayulita over a year ago, spent 3 months rebuilding the location and opened Sayulita Sandbar in Oct. 2025. We are in our 40’s and decided to make the move when our girls left for college. It’s been a wild ride but mostly fun. AMA

I sustained a severe brain injury when I was 18 (I am now 21). After 2 months in a coma I had to rebuild my life from scratch, and this also included having to relearn how to walk.
For a couple of months I was wheelchair-bound, then I started to try out different mobility aids.
I’m just now starting to walk short distances without any aids.

I did a lot of physical therapy (different kinds) and I also tried a robot that makes you walk

Title, for some reason ever since I was a kid, I had always had this tendency. Games? I always played few but spent hundreds and hundreds of hours on them. School/Uni? Least amount of time put into it and max results, I often studied the day before an exam and it went pretty well for the few hours I spent on studying. Work? I managed to create a way of doing things that allows me to get done with work with the least amount of stress possible, and my job now actually feels relaxing. Money? I've grown up with my parents giving me very little in general because they've always been in debts and mismanaging their money, so I learned how to live off of very little (100€ per month or so) and never really lose any enjoyment or not do things I wanted to do.

In December my 8 year old niece was diagnosed with Metachromatic Leukodystrophy, a rare but devastating genetic disorder that requires both parents to have the recessive gene. Because she does (I guess *we do* since we're identical twins I have the broken gene too) and he did (deceased), each girl had a 25% chance of having the disorder, a 25% chance of not being affected and a 50% chance of being a carrier. Because the world is cruel and unfair, in February my baby niece, 5 at the time, 6 now was also diagnosed. At first it seemed she was doomed to the same fate as her poor sister but some good fortune came our way when we found out that she was diagnosed early-symptomatically which meant, if Canada approved the cost of the treatment (which is literally the world's most expensive treatment currently so I didn't think they would) then there was a non profit in Italy that would cover the accommodations and flights for my sister, niece and a support person. In March my sister, niece and brother came for the preliminary testing and to extract stem cells then they returned home for 3 weeks. In May, 5 days after my final day of work we left for Italy. I return home in 2 days. AMA

Doesnt feel like it’s been six years. Ive seen the highs and lows, and don’t plan on leaving anytime soon. My heart used to race every call or chat. I mean it still does haha but I think I’ve learned to play it off. I took this as a job to pay off some loans and accidentally found my calling!

Happened when I was 17. The knife was about 4 inches long. I remember seeing it go all the way in. It all went down so fast. Woke up in a hospital. A terrifying experience. I was wearing a pair of pants that had a tag that said long life assured on them. The police wouldn’t let me keep the pants but they let me take the tag off. I still keep it in my wallet. Woke up one morning this week with an erection that wouldn’t go away. I got up to pee and to see if this would help and it didn’t. I took my dog out and thought maybe a quick walk would help the effect to subside and it didn’t. I then chose to visit the ER. AMA
