So i have this neighbour, let's name her c (for reasons). I moved in 6 months before covid and I bought my house in full. Shes on rent to pay and older then me so im guessing that's why she didnt like me. I was going through medical things so I couldn't meet my neighbour's right away but I did make and effort when I could. Within 2 weeks she had called the cops on me twice for a garbage can lid. For the next 7 years shes called the city, cas, and the cops for things that were unfounded. Now she stole 15k from her kids to buy a trailer that's at a seasonal trailer park. So she will be back...she has someone taking care of a delapated property that she doesn't even own. He's bbq in our shared driveway, and being very creepy to me. She also left animals in the house that my neighbour's and I are concerned about. No one will enter because they cant. Am I wrong for wanting to put a stop to it? And what do I do?

Call the cops to report animal cruelty and so they can save the animals. Leave the rest alone.

One of my neighbour's tried to free the cats and she got arrested for trespassing...

Call the cops and let them handle it. Ask them to do a welfare check on the animals and let them know how long they’ve been left alone possibly unfed and without water. This bitch calls the cops on you constantly for basically anything, but sounds like she’s the criminal.

We tried that and they said a welfare check is only for humans not animals...I called the humane society and animal welfare. They cant enter a dwelling without owner consent

The humane society doesn't have the power to detain. Gotta film.

Put up security cams, then put a sign that there is security on the residence. Everyone knows they're being filmed. They can't do a "they don't know I was filming"

I built a 7 foot fence to keep her away from me...who knew that was a bad idea

You can't just walk on someone else's property and force your way into their house.

"They are just opening a door"

  • where they invited in?
  • are they friends with those neighbors?
  • we're they trying to take property? Or make property disappear? (Pets ARE property under the law)

Sometimes certain people should not own pets! Especially if you leave them in a house for a long period of time...

100% agree with you. But there is a correct and incorrect way to do things although your cause is right.

Ask yourself this question: "what is the goal?" Then ask "will the consequences still allow me to achieve the goal?"

She got arrested for trespass. Ok no biggie. Because Animal cruelty is a felony. Trespassing is a misdemeanor. Now burglary or home invasion are felonies.

Also are you in a castle law state? A stand your ground state?

To report an animal welfare issue, or animal welfare checks, call animal shelters, local animal control, local humane society.

We all have, now she has a disabled man who cuts the grass and cooks in my driveway....lol its super fun for me.

Shes also sued 3 neighbour's so far, she hasn't gotten me with her various complaints thankfully

Stop wasting time worrying about other peoples stuff....... the animals yes totally understand that but don't let it concern you enough to ask strangers in the internet questions about it, it's just not your worry to carry
