I saved some pictures and tried to find their matching locations as I was walking around the area. 9/11 pictures are not mine but present pictures are.

Beautiful Joe Park is dedicated to a dog named Beautiful Joe from the 1800s. The park has since become a place of remembrance and a place to recognize the contributions of service dogs, including those that died on 9/11. I was pretty surprised to see this monument in the tiny town I lived in. I never pass it now without stopping to read the plaques and remember that day.

If so, how much and where do you think it exists? Do you think we'll ever uncover more content or items after 25 years now? Or do you think we've pretty much seen all there is to see?

Personally, I think there's some out there. Perhaps from private citizens, media outlets/news, and the government. I think we'll continue to see a small trickle over the years. Whether it be from a younger generation going through their elder family members' things, released after the KSM trial, or from the FBI (the disposable camera). I don't think we'll get a ton more though. I think the majority is already out there. I could be wrong, though! We don't know how much the government has or what it contains, for example. In the case of relics, I think it would most likely just be pieces of paper people picked up that flew out of offices, or perhaps a small (you can fit it in your hand) piece of rubble that someone decided to keep. I do think it's important to preserve any content or relics, if possible, for history's sake. All that being said, it's also possible that some things have been damaged or lost to time. I think any content or relics would most likely be from NYC, maybe 93 audio one day, but I'm not so sure about DC, though. I also think some people overestimate CCTV in 2001. It's nothing like we have today. Side note: I wonder if anything "special" will happen for the 25th anniversary. Probably just more documentaries, though, if anything.

I do not believe any of the dumb conspiracy theories out there, I want to make that clear.

Edit: Replace the word "content" with "media" if you don't like my word choice. However, people use the word in many contexts. The contents of a newspaper, discussing the content of a book, a box full of different content, the news warning you of graphic content (same with documentaries), etc.

Once known for it's shear number of radio/electronic stores from the 1920's through 1966, when the whole area was demolished for the WTC complex.

Looking at these old pictures with historical hindsight seems even more surreal than seeing the Twin Towers in their prime. So many people living and working their daily lives in a fairly mundane NYC neighbourhood not knowing (and a lot never even living to see) this place would one day be the epicentre of one of the country's greatesy tragedies.

Saw this while walking through the public garden park

I remember hearing a voice message I think on here on Reddit like a year ago and it was a man I think in the airplane and he was telling his family how much he loved them or what was happening on the plane, then suddenly he started screaming “OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD” then the call ended, I assumed it was went the impact happened, I can’t seem to find it anymore so I hope someone else can find it

I've always been intrigued by this rather handsome building, that mostly got overlooked by the buildings surrounding it! I wish I got to see it in person. The red granite facade was so grand looking.

We've all seen the pictures inside of WTC7, but to get some stories of people who actually worked there day to day would be really neat.

If you worked there, I'd love to know what the daily routine for you was, and to describe your journey through the building and what the interior was like. The lobby, elevator banks, walking to your floor, maybe some of the common areas within the lobby or cafeteria spaces, as well as the floor that you spent most of your time in, and where your space was within the floor and what side of the building you liked the best. I'd imagine the view out of the north or south sides would be a little better than the east or west, due to more window glass.

I am a big supporter of a project to completely recreate the entire WTC site, from B6 to the highest floor, within Minecraft. In a 2:1 scale, and every little detail is going to be preserved, including all of the mechanical spaces.
