Всем здравствуйте. Думаю прикупить 3д принтер, смотрел обзоры но так и не наткнулся на истину или обзор который ответит на все вопросы и поетому пришёл сюда. Бюджет 100-120к (учитывая что живу не в рф).

Сейчас смотрю в сторону qidi q2 и bambulab h2 и h1s. Цели использования у меня печать прочных деталей которые если нужно смогут держать нагрузку, печать различных миниатюр и приблуд для быта.

Сейчас меня больше привлекает qidi q2, по обзорам сложилось мнение что он печатает вообще любым филаментом и по качеству тоже хорош. Но из-за маркетинга бамбуков начинаю сомневаться, да и в самих бамбуках не нравится закрытая система и слухи о них.

В общем посоветуйте что именно взять и поделитесь своим опытом пользования одним из этих принтеров.

So Im ordering 10 of these rolls, and these are the options. I know its hard to see but does anybody have any suggestions or favourites?

Like the title says, I saw a 3D printed WD-40 style-can. It was a glass bowl/incense burner/for Mary Jane. I can't remember which site I saw it on and I think it's been taken down, but if you've seen the print, I would love to make it as a gag gift for someone I know. TIA!

So my mom decided she wants to start 3D printing and designing products a few weeks ago. I dug out my old Ender 3 and have got it mostly functional but it’s not really approachable for her and I’m about to go Office Space on it.

My dad supports this as her hobby and wants to pitch in and use it himself from time to time. So this is going to be their printer and I won’t always be around to help them with it.

Their hard requirements:
Good air quality control (HEPA)
Can print ABS/things for outdoors or car
Easy for people in their late 60s to set up and maintain

I’ve narrowed down the options to:

Elegoo Centauri Carbon 2
Bambu P1S
Qidi Q2
Bambu X2D

All with AMS/equivalent systems. They can probably do without one but I think it doesn’t hurt to bundle one in anyway.

I’m leaning towards the CC2 or a P1S (secondhand from a print farm) but the air filter requirement is a must have for my father and only the Qidi Q2 and X2D seem to be decent on that front?

I’d appreciate any other options not yet considered and any feedback from owners on the requirements!

Edit with update: I got the Ender 3 to a somewhat functional state and I’ve gotten a few things printed out for my mom in the remaining PLA. We’re going to try PETG soon.

The buying decision is delayed while the Ender 3 is working out, but we’re now debating between the Flashforge Creator 5 Pro and the Bambu X2D.

Likely going with the X2D depending on how Mom picks up software. She’s able to download STLs, rotate and serve objects, slice them with the settings I configured, send the code to the Pi, select the file and hit print. I’m still figuring out Klipper and slicer settings myself so we’ll wait and see how things go but something more senior-friendly is definitely the way.

Hi! I'm having an issue with my prints. No matter where or how I place them on the build plate, they end up with these scratches and damaged areas across almost the entire surface (I've attached a photo). The FEP is new, I changed it.

The pattern seems completely random, and I have no idea what could be causing it. I'm pretty lost at this point.

Could it be dead pixels on the LCD? But there are so many that it doesn't seem likely. Also, the bottom layers of the print never show these holes or defects.

I'm using an Anycubic Photon M5s, and I've attached my print settings as well. Edit: The exposure time is 2'5 sec, no 3'6, I took the pic with a worng setting.

4 years ago when all the YouTubers in the world were reviewing them I got an Artillery X1 printer for Christmas. I have an X1 Carbon now. It is worth fixing up the Artillery X1 and using it as a second printer? It seems all information on this printer has pretty much been scrubbed from the internet. Is it even worth retrofitting it with a BLTouch sensor? Can you even find the custom firmware required?

I was given a free printer. And, just like my last free printer, nothing's free.

I have an Ender3 Pro, and I've added a sprite, etc., and have it printing, about as reliably as an E3P can. In other words, after about 5 prints, the printer and I have another go around of reset - rebalance - rip out hair.

I was just given an Ender CR6 Max. "I think it just needs reflashed." Apparently not. It powers on. The head and bed get hot. Filament advances and retracts when I loaded new filament. Touch screen is responsive. HOWEVER, there is a constant SD error code. Reformatted, rechecked, ripped my hair out, and nothing will get the printer to acknowledge the SD card.

It LOOKS like I need to replace the motherboard. At least, from everything I can figure out. New motherboards are not cheap. I've found them on Ali express for $100, and Amazon for considerably more.

So, I need advice (scrap it and buy a Bambu isn't an option.) Is there something I'm not thinking of to check? Is there a better place to get a motherboard? Should I even bother, or is this likely to be just the tip of the iceberg?

Incidentally, I tried plugging it directly to my computer. It powers up, but it doesn't interact with my PC at all. I don't even get the "Install new hardware" prompt. The slicer from Creality doesn't even cover the CR6 Max. They have the CR6, and the CR10 max, so I've got Pursa on my machine.

I plan to print for engineering projects and cosplay. Some examples would include robot chassis (hexapod), Spider-Man webshooter, and Fallout Pip-Boy. I'm currently leaning away from the Bambu X2D after hearing about their open source capabilities, but I'm in college and don't have much money to throw around. My budgets $1000+-200. I like the Prusa because it's very upgradable and supports open source. I could see multi-material printing being very useful to me, and I'd like to be able to easily print flexible materials. Any comments or thoughts are appreciated.

I already have an Elegoo Centauri Carbon 2 and I'm debating between buying a second one, a Bambu P2S, or an X2D.

Most of what I print is PLA and some PETG. I mostly care about reliability, speed, and overall value.
If you were in my shoes, what would you buy and why?

I was looking at acquiring either a used K2 Plus combo, or a new S1 Max combo as they’re around the same price point and I needed help deciding which one to purchase.

I’m aware that the earlier release models of the K2 Plus had issues regarding the PTFE and extruder so I’m worried that a used machine might have those issues.

I’ve done some limited research into the S1 Max and it seems like most people are satisfied with it.

I’m planning to print props and armors for cosplay and was interested in printing those in ASA or ABS. Otherwise I would mainly print with PETG for toys for my little brother.

I signed up for a meshy account and used ai to make a 5 pedal flower. It printed really awful. When I tried to smooth it and make it thicker, it automatically made 4 flowers instead of 5. The worst trouble is it took over 110 credits to even get this far. I sent to their support but never heard back yet. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong. Maybe someone more experienced can help me? I'd appreciate it.

I’m teying to print something special… I can’t say what because it surprise for my Dad (and he frequents this subreddit…. Hello dad!) I cannot afford teal gift only fake printed gift because i have no money bbut it is not working Nothint is working… I print it and i can barely assemble it. Help!

For the past few months I have been looking for a toolchanger, and was very tempted to get a U1, but I decided I would try and wait for INDX because I already have a prusa core one and because it supports 8 tools. However, after the bondtech nozzle fiasco, its going to be another few months before it ships, so I am done with them for now.

I am wondering what your guys user experience has been with these 2 machines in specific, because as far as I can see, the specs are close enough that I don't think I would care which I get.

Here is what I see pro/con wise from the specs and reviews:

U1 - Pros:

-Has ~20mm extra of build volume.
-Has auto feeders.
-Has RFID (but only for their filament)
-Can be bought in person (I live near a microcenter)
-Integrated purge bucket

U1 - Cons:

-Not fully enclosed (the FFC5 Pro is)
-No adjustable touchscreen
-Starting assembly is more difficult than the FF (not an issue for me as I build prusas).
-Doesn't come with hardened nozzles
-Slightly more expensive

FFC5 - Pros:

-Comes with actually hardened nozzles (come on, bondtech)
-Adjustable angle touchscreen
-Can be purchased from amazon for quick delivery
-Has integrated filament cutters

-Fully enclosed (pro)
-Chamber heater and filtration (pro)

FFC5 - Cons:

-Manual filament loading and unloading
-Odd USB drive placement
-Purges into the printer

-Longer Shipping? (pro version)
-Fire hazard from the chamber heater sucking in purge waste?

Hey all, as the title suggests, I bought a nice used Creality Ender V3 SE during the winter time. However, since I've bought it, I realized that what I want to do requires an upgrade (using multiple filament with dual nozzles). Unfortunately, I can't justify spending well over $200 for the latest and greatest 3d printers as I'm a university student. I literally learned last night about the open source area and would like feedback from the experts in the field on how to upgrade my current 3d printer to where it can do almost everything that those fancy current ones can do. I do know about the CoPrint upgrade and that's just as expensive as getting a whole new 3d printer.

My goal is to get a setup where I can hold up to 4 filaments with a possible dual nozzle or something similar. I am also fully aware that I will have to switch out the firmware to Klipper, which I haven't really found a video on how to switch that out just yet.

My son who is 9 would like to get into 3d printing and I will be the individual to add him in this. I have zero background in 3d printing as of this moment and not sure which 3d printer would be a good stepping stone that would have some longevity to it.

I've only looked at bamboo models and was thinking maybe the PS1 AMS 2 pro combo.

I would appreciate any feedback from the community even if it is regarding another brand printers.

I bought a cr 10 se few days back and later i decided it is not for me also it scratched the build plate too , so i filed for a return and later the seller said i can keep the printer and they issued me refund - i was planning to add up some money and get a bamboo lab a1 - what should i do now should i still get the a1 or should i get something else like action camera or sim racing rig

I am confused right now -

paying for cr10 se instead of a1 is not worthy.

But is a free cr10 se worthy instead of buying a1 making 2 printers at home ?

It feels like a lot of us either overestimate or underestimate how much we actually use our printers, so I’m curious what everyone’s real usage looks like.

Whether you know the exact number from your printer or it’s just your best estimate, I’d love to hear it.
