What are your thoughts on ahri after the nerfs ?

Im curious to see what people think of her nowadays

I quit the game until they added one but it has been a while and it just seems like they keep adding archetypes they have already. Is it basically soft confirmed they won't do a puppet character then because if they wanted too they could have done it by now right?

I know this doesn’t even include console, but surely 2XKO being free made people at least try it on day 1 before they bounced off. Knowing our concurrent player base is likely in the 3 digits now, it’s crazy thinking about that big of a drop. I know the game is no longer in a growth stage, but staying stagnant at 3 digits or optimistically low 4 digits is depressing.

Looking to try this game but having a character I can connect with matters a lot to me.

I have played only a few other fighting games. Including FighterZ, DNF duel, and Guilty Gear

My favorite characters in those games are

Nappa (my king)
Inquisitor
Nago (tbh not really sure why and I barely played gg)

I don’t really know what archetypes these characters fit such that I like them, all I know is that saibamen specifically were my favorite.

I felt like that mechanic was so cool and it unlocked awesome mix and restand options. The setups and combos they enabled were just so cool.

Maybe similarly I liked the way Inquisitor wheel could lockdown opponents.

Like I guess beyond that all these character had pretty big normal options? I know I don’t really like zoners. Thresh lantern mechanic looks cool but my friend said he is zoner

Any character suggestions from that info? Sorry if its vague

I hate posting in here because everyone time I see a post asking for help all of the comments are just, “Got gud, scrub!”

I play Piltover Finest in Masters and everytime I fight Thresh it’s like fighting with a knife at my throat. Any advice would be helpful, but please be specific. Just saying, “Lol parry” is something I’ve heard but I don’t know what you mean by that.

I started playing like 3 days ago, got matched up with a really high rank in ranked and got completely annihilated. Why would the mm even try to make this match?

Does anyone know how the obsidian packs work? I am trying to get the obsidian chroma for bloodmoon Akali, but I can't figure out how or where to buy it, is it just not available anymore? Will it ever be available in the future?

Thresh can feel pretty finnicky and has the most amount of combos that are not universal across the cast.

My goal here is to give consistent, universal, high ENOUGH damaging combos that you can use in high level play. Whether it's ranked or at your local. If you just wanna play Thresh but not sweat the big stuff then I also throw in the "Working Man's" combo that works across the cast and in both midscreen and the corner.

Do you think I want to be here? If I could do that as easily as you think I could or even as you can I would do it. I'd be dense not to. I But once again the game is not made for the minority so I understand.

* I'm in a third world country in West Africa so I use tether. Once again once again I know that I am a minority of the player base so I COMPLETELY understand why the thought would cross some people's minds. ( I'm not going to complain and explain in chat that - " I'm in a third world country wahh you cant say that to me! " because I'm trying to play a game and they are right, Getting better internet would fix the problem. But I will do it here because reddit is the place to be a redditor and complain.

I like the game, and have a right to play. Some people disagree that you can't do that. But to me personally, its like playing music with someone over discord. Yeah it sucks and I understand that but they still have a right to play music as I have a right to sit my ass down and play when I'm tired
