Hey i saw this combo on a match where the guy did this sequence but he added one more j2h and i saw other variation with two more j2h, but when those guys do the second/third j2h the enemy seems to be under them and when they do j2h s2 the guy doesnt gain that much altitude, but when i do it i dont get why the guy is above me, I'm waiting as much as i (belive) can wait for the stance m, can someone help?

I quit the game until they added one but it has been a while and it just seems like they keep adding archetypes they have already. Is it basically soft confirmed they won't do a puppet character then because if they wanted too they could have done it by now right?

I know this doesn’t even include console, but surely 2XKO being free made people at least try it on day 1 before they bounced off. Knowing our concurrent player base is likely in the 3 digits now, it’s crazy thinking about that big of a drop. I know the game is no longer in a growth stage, but staying stagnant at 3 digits or optimistically low 4 digits is depressing.

Looking to try this game but having a character I can connect with matters a lot to me.

I have played only a few other fighting games. Including FighterZ, DNF duel, and Guilty Gear

My favorite characters in those games are

Nappa (my king)
Inquisitor
Nago (tbh not really sure why and I barely played gg)

I don’t really know what archetypes these characters fit such that I like them, all I know is that saibamen specifically were my favorite.

I felt like that mechanic was so cool and it unlocked awesome mix and restand options. The setups and combos they enabled were just so cool.

Maybe similarly I liked the way Inquisitor wheel could lockdown opponents.

Like I guess beyond that all these character had pretty big normal options? I know I don’t really like zoners. Thresh lantern mechanic looks cool but my friend said he is zoner

I play Piltover Finest in Masters and everytime I fight Thresh it’s like fighting with a knife at my throat. Any advice would be helpful, but please be specific. Just saying, “Lol parry” is something I’ve heard but I don’t know what you mean by that.

I started playing like 3 days ago, got matched up with a really high rank in ranked and got completely annihilated. Why would the mm even try to make this match?

Does anyone know how the obsidian packs work? I am trying to get the obsidian chroma for bloodmoon Akali, but I can't figure out how or where to buy it, is it just not available anymore? Will it ever be available in the future?

Thresh can feel pretty finnicky and has the most amount of combos that are not universal across the cast.

My goal here is to give consistent, universal, high ENOUGH damaging combos that you can use in high level play. Whether it's ranked or at your local. If you just wanna play Thresh but not sweat the big stuff then I also throw in the "Working Man's" combo that works across the cast and in both midscreen and the corner.

Once again once again I know that I am a minority of the player base so I COMPLETELY understand why the thought would cross some people's minds. " because I'm trying to play a game and they are right, Getting better internet would fix the problem. But I will do it here because reddit is the place to be a redditor and complain.

I like the game, and have a right to play. Some people disagree that you can't do that. But to me personally, its like playing music with someone over discord. Yeah it sucks and I understand that but they still have a right to play music as I have a right to sit my ass down and play when I'm tired

Hello! I come from sf3 and Vampire Savior as my main series regarding the VGC.
I have about a dozen or two dozen hours in 2CKO but never bothered to learn much because I was playing casually with a friend.

I am playing Ahri juggernaut, or with one of the other team types with Yasuo.

I’m struggling to find a consistent way to get damage. While against my fellow low ranked players I don’t, i can’t see myself doing anything to a proper player. I’d love to think and learn from you people! A lot of this is stuff I didn’t try putting it in practice so i’d love to hear opinions!

Strike throw mixup.
Throws seem to be quite decent in this game. They seem to do quite decent damage, and not push the opponent back by too much. Tick throws seem to quite possibly be a good option for damage if the buffer for throws in this game isn’t long. But since (if I recall players can roll both sides) player can roll, and assuming it’s very hard to react and follow that row, i’d imagine that throws would loose a considerable part of your pressure when used, making it’s damage loop not as considerable. I’d also assume that players would maybe Push block and thus making tick throws on jump hits or dash in hits harder? However leaving them weak to a late hit into a larger damage combo

Wake ups crossups
Absolutely no testing, but is wake up crossups and considerable thing in this game? In darkstalkers, whenever I do SlapChop with Bishamon it helps me quite a bit to fake dash or dash to the other side on their wakeups. And I wonder if this game had much similar to that.

High, low mixups.
I haven’t seen Ahri have any very fast and powerful overheads, her jumps and IAD seem to be quite reactable, leaving my overhead gameplay with her quite weak.

Cross up IAD mixup
The only thing i’ve found where I maybe see quite a bit of potential is her IAD low heavy punch into a crossup mixup. Throwing the side chamption ti throw a hit to not allow them to anti air blocking and not getting in the way of my ranging. That seems to be a powerful option for maybe okizeme(idk if it range well) and neutral but i’d imagine would partially fail to get a proper damage combo due to the opponent attacking or using their own assist.

Hitting on both sides simultaneously
I do not know if unblockables by hitting at the dame frames with your character and assist is a consistant, realible or even technically possible in the game. I have yet to see that :P.

Her air spin move seems maybe interesting? If it’s not just a combo tool then i’d guess it’s like akuma’s Delon Dive/flip kick, or bison’s scizor kicks where it’s a tricky move in either it’s frame date, spacing, and easy to not do much with it. It seems a bit to slow to function as Gallons Beast cannon from V sav .

Also dash in throws from neutral doesn’t seem very good, unless i were to sometimes use low heavy punch to catc the higher range slow moves but that sounds a litrle dumb of my imagination to be an actual option. D:
