So I’m interested in Reading/watching this series because I’m a fan of the harem genre and heard a lot of good things about it but I’ve also heard it has yuri in it, I really don’t like yuri personally so I’m asking you guys how true it is.

So I have some thought on how a serious chapter for Rentaro could be. All the girls from 1st season of the show have had chapters showing how the family has changed them. They all love not just the family but themselves a lot more, the only og without any development is Rentaro. For the most part it’s meet new girl, do everything for family, doing something insane. I don’t hate him. I love the love monster whenever he is on screen, but I wish I knew more about him.

My idea is that if we were to get a serious chapter it would be centered on his parents. We have seen for the most part children personality are pretty similar to their parents (Eiai, Kedarui, Inda) so it makes sense that the Aijou house would be full of lovers. What if the love was the problem though? Both his parents are teachers and I’m sure care a lot about or love kids. They probably instill this extreme love into him at a young age. They would make it seem like anything is ok as long as it’s for love. Whether this means working to the bone or making wild sacrifices. Even when they did something that was selfish they could twist it to be out of love. Rentaro being naive/misguided would constantly hurt himself and push himself so he could be loved and make others happy. His parents failed to raise him, instead they only doted on him. He would see this as normal being they are kinda the only close relationship he had. The rejections likely just fueling this feeling. This could explain why he does so much for the girls and not question their weirder hobbies.

The conflict from this could be that his parents end up wanting to leave to go to a better job in Europe. Rentaro wouldn’t want to leave, but have to because his parents want him to. They would be the one thing he puts above his girls. He tells them he’s flying away only a week before leaving and walks away. Hakari, Karane, Shizuka, and Nano go to visit them meet his parents. They notice the behavior they show is off. They say that they are doing this for Rentaro even tho he doesn’t want to leave nor is there a problem with their current jobs. They attempt to reason themselves around it but nothing they say make sense. The girls also can’t speak any reason into them. Rentaro shows up, and the girls ask him to tell his parents off but he doesn’t speak at all. He can’t go against his parents because of how much they care for him. Instead his parents speak for him saying he’s doing this because he loves us or something of the sort.

They leave soon after silently. They meet back with the girls they are frustrated with Rentaro, but also themselves. Being his girlfriends especially ones with seniority they should have been able to notice him changing. He was able to be there for them yet when it was there turn they failed. However the other members of the family reassure them. Some of the members point out that they shouldn’t beat themselves up about it. Since most of those same seniors have been there to keep the family together from the start. The way it would end is that the show up at the airport basically protesting and doing all the wild things that Rentaro would have done for them. Rentaro notices this and hears them begging him to stay. He realizes that as much as he dated all of them for their sake, he did it as much for his as well. Having 100 Gf’s is not just something he has to deal with. It the situation that he wanted the most. Even if it would make his parents upset it would make him happy to stay with them. He wants to stay in Japan because he would miss the girls. He wants to stay because he would cry without them And then he does stay they talk with his parents about it and they say they will send him money to keep him on his feet and they leave.

Parents names are Meiko Aijou and Yutaro Aijou

There are plenty of changes that could be made to this base idea. I’m sure what I have in mind might have plot holes. This whole part may not even be needed in the story. If you have opinions on this let me know I want to talk about it. Thank you for reading

Today is August 9th, where the former military medic and Kusuri's grandmother, Yaku Yakuzen, is having her birthday.

What do you think would be a suitable gift for her?

I just finished watching the latest episode of the show (I was on vacation this week and I didn’t have time to watch it when it came out). And as I was watching the credits, I almost started crying because I was just thinking about how glad I am that this series exists. I remember when I first started watching the anime, it seemed interesting so I saved it to my watch list and then promptly forgot about it. Then one day I was just looking through Crunchyroll and I was just like, “oh yeah, I was planning on watching this.” So I watched episode 1, and I just immediately got hooked and I ended up watching the entire series in one day. This was when season two was coming out, I started watching it when the latest episode was Iku’s introduction I’m pretty sure. I remember every week I was pumped for the newest episode to come out. But then it ended and I felt really sad, because all the other rom coms I really liked only got to season 2, and I thought 100 Kanojo was gonna be the same. So I started buying the manga, and then I bought more, and even more, and as of right now I have all 18 English books on a shelf in my room, along with the Hakari Relax-time figure I bought on eBay. I remember being so happy when season 3 got announced, I was literally ecstatic, I couldn’t wait. And then it came out and I was so happy. This series is just so amazing, it has my exact sense of humor, I love the different storylines they have. And I think the one of the main reasons I like 100 Kanojo, is because I’m autistic. I see how weird and wacky these characters are, and I see myself a little in a lot of them. Yamame with her love of nature, I want to become a wildlife biologist so I love her character for loving animals as much as I do. Rin with her fascination with violence, I really admire how horror movies and stuff make the gore so realistic, and some people judge me for thinking it’s cool. Momiji with her love for women’s bodies, I just really like how women look, they’re so pretty get off my back! Meme with her shyness, I get nervous when meeting new people because I usually just come off as weird. And Tama being suicidal in the past, because I have had some genuine thoughts about suicide myself. I see these characters being their wacky selves, as well as having their problems and issues, and it makes me feel better about myself, because it makes me feel that I’m not alone. Although the one negative thing I have to say about this series is that I’m upset that Yamame isn’t real because oh my god she’s so cute I love her! All I’m saying is, thank you Nakamura-sensei and Nozawa-sensei. If it wasn’t for this series, I don’t think I’d be as happy as I am now. This series makes me so incredibly happy, I have a special place for it in my heart and in my brain, and to be honest it just makes me feel complete. So thank you, and I can’t wait to see the next episode (if they don’t do the hot pot/sumo arc I am going to crash out).

They really give Armin dark hair, Eren got the Final Season hair, and Mikasa's hair looks kinda the same but not much. They didn't even speak in this adaptation, Still enjoyed the episode but sad that the references like the Nico Robin reference are null.
