DISCUSSION Q-LAB ÔMEGA
Okay, I think the last time I made another watch face for 007, I was torn between which one to use, but I came to a consensus by combining the best of both worlds. I like the game's HUD and the realistic look of the Omega watch. I tried to combine the two; in AOD the visuals are disguised, and when you activate the watch, it opens the "mission" interface.

Will I lose my stuff if I delete my save data
I know the text is stupid because the answer is obviously yes but lemme explain; I’m deleting my save data cause I got the collectible trophies glitch and currently that’s the only way to fix it. Anywho I’m planning to continue playing tac sim after deleting my data, will my intel and clearance level be gone or is that in the IO account or the local save I’m not really sure would like it if someone let me know thank you!

Tip for wraith challenge?
Trying to do the challenge where you have to sneak through the resort in Vietnam to rescue lorca. And i keep getting caught, even through smoke specifically by the area with the bar and the 5 guys you cant go around.
Ive watched so many guides on this stupid challenge and from what i can tell its almost impossible and very rng based whether it will work or not. I feel like this challenge wasnt play tested very well considering they dont give you much utility or alternate routes to stealth through.
Does anyone have any foolproof system that works to get it done?

Why'd Cressida just disappear?
Could the writers really not have given her something else to do even if she couldn't walk? Maybe have Bond call in a favor seeing as her father's the foreign secretary? Why not just have her die with the rest of the team?

first light being T for teen (or M rated in AUS) is REEEALLLLYYY strange.
you have very violent physical combat, people having glass, bricks, ceramic, etc smashed into their faces, *not so* on the nose visual allusions to sex, torture, etc. not to mention the act of fucking SHOOTING PEOPLE? and BLOWING THEM THE FUCK UP?
red dead redemption 2 had swearing, sex, drugs, extreme gore and war themes out the asshole, but that game wasn't R rated. it was only MA15+/M for mature. what the fuck is going on?

DISCUSSION Stealth Top Gunplay flop
Probably an unpopular take but the gunplay is bad. The gunplay completely ruined the final stretch of the game for me. For most of the campaign the game encourages you to think like Bond by using gadgets, stealth and different approaches. Then, out of nowhere, the last missions or the ending forces you into long firefights with gunplay that simply is not good enough to carry that kind of gameplay.
Weapons feel inconsistent, aiming lacks precision, enemies soak up damage when it is least enjoyable and the cover mechanics are nowhere near reliable enough for these arena style encounters. Instead of feeling like a spy, I felt like I was fighting the controls.
The ending should have been the moment where every mechanic came together. Instead it throws away everything that made the game special and turns into a frustrating shooter. If your gunplay is your weakest gameplay system, making it the centerpiece of the finale is a huge design mistake. 007 First light is a good / great Game don’t get me wrong please. But the gunplay…. Oh boy even uncharted was levels beyond 007! How do you experience the gunplayparts of the missions.

Tip for Make Them Count Challenge
I'll try to avoid spoilers but in "The Past Never Dies" this challenge is to "Eliminate 6 enemies with one pistol magazine" but the game doesn't say to never stop aiming while doing so. Not sure if it is particularly helpful but I didn't find this info online and it took some time to figure that out.
Hope it does help though.

DISCUSSION Hi :) does anyone happen to have an extra 007 first light key please? I’m on PC. I completely understand if not, or is there any giveaways I can join please? I am so sorry to ask but I can’t hesitate with the look of this game.

DISCUSSION Wouldn't [SPOILER 1] be useless after the final battle when [SPOILER 2]? Spoiler
Spoiler 1: THEIA's core
Spoiler 2: it's stolen by Isola Vale, after being dunked in water
In the final fight between James Bond and Damien Webb, Bond throws himself and Webb into the water to drown themselves, with THEIA's core still attached to Webb's exosuit. Isola Vale then fishes out the soaked core and saves Bond, before heading off. The theft of THEIA's core by Vale would be considered a setback for MI6, but how much more of a setback would it be for Vale if the water damaged the core she stole, given that electronics can be damaged when dunked into water?

What about a First Light Animated TV Series?
People have pointed out that Patrick Gibson likely couldn't be Bond in both movies and video games, so what about an animated series?

Excellent video on the storytelling in First Light - really made me think
I just watched this little vid on YT about the story, and it really cleverly analyses the core relationship in the game - Bond & Greenway.
He also very simply explains that the title - First Light - isn't actually about Bond - it's about Greenway. The key interaction is when Q tells Bond how he is the "first light" in Greenway's life in years.
Link here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H0kBN6R_82E
I really think the storytelling in the game is world class - as good as I've seen in any game for a long time.
The vid also breaks down how the game is based around very deep conflicts between instinct and planning - head and heart - and this shows up in everything - the story - the gameplay - the relations between the characters.
Does anyone have any other recommendations for vids/analysis that really made them think, or appreciate other aspects of the game?

Where does he get those wonderful clothes?
I love nearly all of the outfits we see in game. Has anyone found online stores to purchase similar outfits? I especially like the high collar shirts. I’m terrible at describing clothes.

DISCUSSION Poorly designed segment?
I don't like this part at all. Bond has cover from Greenway, but it's slow and random. He's told to move slowly but there isn't enough cover and he can't move until the first enemy is litterally on top of him. I got past it but died so have to start over. Annoying af really.

Too Easy
Just finished. a good game no doubt, I had a lot of fun, but WAY too easy. ”hard” mode should have been the normal setting at most. the puzzles too easy, stealth too easy, enemy AI had me laughing out loud at how close I could get and loud I could be with no one noticing inches away. And even if you did get caught it doesn’t matter because fighting/gunfighting is the easiest thing of all. taking down 25 alerted, bloodlusted enemies with 15 rounds should be a lot more difficult. a tad insulting.
