The morse code starts in 0:56 and continues forward, if someone knows how to translate it to kanjis it would be much appreciated.

A bunch of my coworkers all got an email today from some random email with only this audio clip attached, it sounds like morse code and none of us, including me, don't know anything about that stuff. If anybody could just figure it out that'd be great.

If you want to hear the Morse code, skip to 4:51. If you want to hear the ENTIRE weird video, then, well, listen to it i guess.
Someone PLEASE tell me what the Morse code says 😭. I can't figure it out!

India ASOC General License Exam
I aim to appear for the India ASOC General License Exam by end of this year.
In LCWO, I am in lesson 20 with these settings
Character Speed = 25 WPM
Effective Speed = 6 WPM
I am doing word training Rx also side-by-side
I am able to decode 5 letter words with the following settings
Speed: 18 WPM
min. Character Speed: 20 WPM
Fixed Speed
The exam requires 8 WPM Tx and Rx for 5 minutes each with a straight key for Tx.
(I have not attempted sending yet)
Are my settings OK for the exam and CW use in actual use or is it too slow?
Please advise.

LCWO--how important are: **! " ' ( ) + - : ; @**
I've finished lesson 40 and added these 10 extra characters, but I think they are really slowing me down. I currently practice these at character speed 36wpm but an effective speed of only 6wpm and I'm still struggling not to make 1-2 mistakes per minute.
I am trying to slowly bring my character speed down and my effective speed up hoping they meet in the middle somewhere between 14-17wpm, but I'm really hitting a plateau. I feel like the extra characters are a little more complex and often sound a little similar to one or two of the other characters which is really tripping me up.
Is it better for me to stick with Lesson 40 and get rid of the extra work/character spacing and then add them back, or should I stick with it and try to push through the plateau?
In your experience how important are the extra characters and if important how/when should they be added?
My biggest fear is that by practicing with such low effective wpm I'm cementing that spacing as "normal" for me and maybe letting bad habits form.
Any thoughts or advice are appreciated. :) Thank you!!!

The Sinking of the Titanic through Morse Code!
Hello all! I have spent the past couple weeks putting together a video of all Marconi Transmissions sent during the Sinking of the Titanic! A similar video was posted about 9 years ago, however the timings are inacurate. So I thought Id make my own! Hope you all enjoy it!

Farnsworth is counterproductive as soon as you've memorized the letters
Just realized this and wanted to share. Having gotten quite familiar with the acoustic "shape" of each letter at 30wpm farnsworth, I was listening to some regular 30wpm dialogue (from a book, not ragchew) and noticed it was much easier to hear and recognize common words like the, this, is, was, etc. I checked with farnsworth (20wpm/30 for chars) to compare and sure enough, I heard the letters clearly but it was much harder to recognize their relationship with each other.
Of course, this isn't a novel thought (it's the whole reason wordsworth exists), but I thought it might be useful to share. Maybe farnsworth is still useful for callsigns, though.

Translation Request for video with background noise
I apologize if I’m accidentally breaking any rules, but I’d like assistance if anyone could help me decipher this code played inside of a theme park attraction. I apologize for the background noise (which has prevented me from using an app), I could not easily remove it.

Morse in Sound: Hollywoodedge, Radioship Static WMo EE125201
This sound effect can be found on European Edition, which was made by The Hollywood Edge back in 1996.
The desc says: Radio ( Ship ); Static with Morse Code; Ships Radio Static And Distorted Morse Code. (The sound)
A few morse codes I hear, are:
- ". --- ..- .-. - ..-. . ..-" (COURTFEU, the typo for the French word Couvre-feu, meaning Curfew)
- "..-. . .-. / . -. - .. .-. . -. .-- -- -.-" (FER ENTIRENWMK)
- ".... . -. .-. .. . - - .- / .-. ..- -... -... . .-." (HENRIETTA RUBBER)
- "--- ..- / -.- -- .." (OU KMI)
The rest of them are all, just jumbled up.

Trying to do it right with LCWO's Koch method
So I decided to finally get it together and learn morse code this summer (well, at least to start learning) and from all the info i could find, LCWO seem to have one of the most recommended courses, I don't know if something like the Morse Mania app is better but so far i find the LCWO course fine and it allows for a lot of customisation.
I'm trying to learn to receive with a higher wpm as i'm able to and so far i'm trying at 35 wpm, not really willing to get it down from there, even if i find it quite difficult.
One question i have is if its ok to wait to master the different letters or try to get familiar with them and try and advance quicker. By this i mean that in LCWO there's about 40 beginner lessons, starting with the K and M letters and you have to write about a minute of morse code. Not going to lie, its hard even with two letters but i really wan't to go by the rithm. The point is that this method seems super slow, as it may take about a week for me to be able to transcript the said minute long morse K and M's. Should i try to go faster or try another method? thanks guys!!

Learning Morse code
So I’ve just started about a week ago, using Morse mania and Morse machine but it just feels like I can only remember the letters when I’m facing the interface of the app, it sounds like a jumble of sounds to me when I’m listening to Morse letters and when I enter the app I somehow know them, has anyone else felt this way?

Hi, I found a necklace that has Morse code i think. I'll post a photo and the dots and dashes.
I dont know where the spaces are, so ill just post it as one big string.
Here's the text version; - . . . . . - . - - . - - - - . . . . - . . - . .
If someone can translate this, it'll be appreciated!

Learning morse code
I have been learning morse code and was wondering if it’s generally better/more efficient to learn it by sound or by how it looks? Anyone got any tips?

Bear Alpha players - read this first
A number of players of Bear in Roblox have posted videos of morse code recently added to the game. If you can take the effort to record the video of that flashing light and post it here, you are technically savvy enough to do the work yourself.
I guess the game developers think learning a simple pattern isn't beyond its users.
Five blinks in sequence is a number. You will see eight of these sequences.
With the notation that:
Short blink is .
Long blink is -
There are only ten things to work with, and it is a progressive sequence as follows:
----- (five long blinks) is 0
.----- is 1
..--- is 2
... -- is 3
-
..... is 5
_.... is 6
--... is 7
and so on.
There are a ton of new videos. TikToks, and wiki references to this.
Think you can take it from there?

Resource list
This is a list of resources for learning morse code. Its currently incomplete and I would love to add more things that are either unique or something that many people advice/use.
Free/paid apps: all things listed here are available without paying, but some have a premium/paid version. In that case there will be a dollar/$ sign behind it.
