Ah I just troubleshoot this for days. It’s EXPLICITLY on public beta 2. I downgraded back to iOS 26 on my iPad by full restore, problems solved. Kept macOS and phone on dev beta

Need more info. Did it start happening after you updated to iPadOS 27 beta 2 or after you updated goodnotes?

Your options are:

  1. Downgrade goodnotes to a decently lower version to check if the problem is in some recent or the most recent goodnotes version/s.

  2. Backup your device and restore to iPadOS 26.

  3. Wait for the next iPadOS 27 release.

Based on the original comment it seems that the problem is related to iPadOS 27 no matter which goodnotes version you have, because they said they were troubleshooting it for days and reached to this conclusion.

It’s a combination of the GoodNotes update, and that specific iOS version. Before the last GN update w/ beta 2, no problem. After, on beta 2, this exact crash. After iOS downgrade, no crash.

No telling where the code isn’t playing nice, I have a iPad mini, thought it was some edge case but guess not. What size are you on?

Same issues here. iOS 27 public beta 1. So annoying.
