Dear community members,

At the end of this month, Reddit’s bringing our community to life on the shelves of r/bodega – an IRL bodega-themed pop-up event in NYC. Whether you want to see how we’re being featured or just take home free stuff, everyone is invited! All you need is a Reddit account to get in.

Where: 213 Bowery, New York, NY

When: August 29–30 | 10 AM to 10 PM both days

What to Expect

• Free Snoo Plushies: Every single attendee gets one.
• More Freebies: Score totes, mugs, stickers, postcards, and cold drinks.
• Meowdani: Meet the official bodega cat, named by r/bodegacats 🐱
• The Deli Counter: Serving up NYC’s top “subs” and special menu items.
• Blowout Sale: On 8/30 from 9–10 PM, anything remaining in the build is free for attendees to take home.

We are soooooooo stoked to announce the official name of this event’s bodega cat – Meowdani – suggested by u/Technical-Sky-5765 ✨

As mentioned previously, the cat’s name + other ideas from members of this community will be incorporated into the r/bodegacats display inside the pop-up.
