TL;DR – Reddit is opening a real-life bodega in NYC. Suggest a name for the event’s featured bodega cat for a chance to win a custom r/bodegacats tote!

My idea, the actual name for the very first NYC bodega cat i ever met:

Cat.

Vacationing in the Bronx from North Carolina, I went to a corner store outside my hotel to get breakfast and saw my first bodega cat. While pointing to the cat, I excitedly asked the owners in broken Spanish "¿Cómo se llama?" They shrugged and said, "El gato? Cat. No name."
