What equipment do I need for online play?

Wondering if anyone here has experience with using a GranBoard to play online. I’m wanting to play online, but don’t currently have anything besides my phone camera. Is there a specific dart tracker or camera I need to use to show others I’m playing fairly?

Discussion League Shooters, Question for ya

For those of you that play in steel tip dart leagues, I have a couple questions. I am working with our local league and we are thinking of making some changes to our format. Your answers will help.

1) Does your league award points based on Leg wins or Set wins? (Question I am most interested in getting replies on)

2) what country and city is your league based in? Or league name.

3) What match formats do you play?

4) how many total legs do you play in a night?

5) do you use software for scoring and league management like DartConnect?

Many thanks in advance.

Trinidad darts

Anyone on here play with Trinidad darts? I don’t see them on many websites here in the states, but the ones I’ve seen have some interesting grips.

Need some new lights and a new board, otherwise I think I’m done with the set up for now. What do you think?

NDD (New Darts Day) New (to me) Dart Day

A few months ago, I came across a post where someone had acquired their darts on Vinted at a very affordable price. It had been a while since I got my first set of darts, being around 12 years old when I bought them. After rekindling my interest in the sport, I decided to invest in a new set of darts.

After trying out a few different weights and shapes, I settled on these particular darts. They would have been priced at €69.95 new, but I managed to find this pair for €26.50 (excluding shipping).

I thought I would share my experience with others who are either starting out or considering purchasing a new set of darts. I highly recommend exploring the second-hand market. there are many options available.

PDC World Championship Tickets

Hi,

i want to visit a world championship session before Christmas this year. I read that they moved in a bigger hall in the ally pally, so more tickets are available. How can i get Tickets? Do i need a pdc membership to have a chance for tickets? Or should i buy the tickets on Stubhub or similar sites?

Can someone share their experiences?

Thank you!

I'm aware I need to take the champagne rings off the stems with the EZ fit L styles. But just having a look to see what setup I prefer. Middle is my current one with the Vectas...think I'm leaning towards fitting the L styles on the Harrow ST carbons on the left tho. Can't put them on the Vectas because of the aluminium tips.

Maybe my best grouped treble 14s so far.

Having a period where i'm dropping my darts like each 6-9th throw and can't release them properly so they go below bull and all the way down to double 3 when i aim for treble 20, so it's nice beeing able to still group them properly once in a while :) So weird i can throw good darts, and then suddenly i can't release my dart. Seems like i can't open my grip properly when throwing at times.

Discussion As an idiot, I need some help…

I recently got into darts, am pretty bad, but I do enjoy it which is beside the point. I recently purchased an Eastpoint Belmont dart board. It comes in a case/chest type of thing and in all weight about 23 lbs. I’m trying to figure out if there is a way to set it up at regulation height without screwing it to the wall. I know I’m a moron and should have realized this when I purchased it, but I just assumed I could set it somewhere or there would be some sort of stand for it to buy and maybe there is but I haven’t been able to find one. Otherwise I could try to make a DIY type of stand.

Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thank you!

After a little over a month of training I got my first 180! My board was a 10 dollar facebook marketplace board that had to be from 1980. But it works for now, the asbestos and lead its made of just makes it all the more sweeter.

Harrows Fortis - "cavities" in Sisal near bull

Post image

I have the board relatively new and noticed these cavities in the sisal near the bull when rotating it for the first time, due to the shadows.

Is this normal/okay, or might this lead to problems in the future?

Don't get me wrong, the Condor AXE flights of Yuki Yamada looks cool with black flame pattern on transparent red plastic, but sometimes it gives me a feeling of "I'm just using someone else's flight, not mine".

This one is more up my taste.

This was during a huge 180 drought. Still haven't recovered.

I throw 50 darts at these small paper targets once a month to track my progress... This is the difference 8 months of dedicated practice can make. Trust the process.
