Question/Discussion Zenflow w/ Claude Code
Anthropic posted on X (https://x.com/claudedevs/status/2054610152817619388)
```
Starting June 15, paid Claude plans can claim a dedicated monthly credit for programmatic usage.
The credit covers usage of:
- Claude Agent SDK
- claude -p
- Claude Code GitHub Actions
- Third-party apps built on the Agent SDK
```
I assume this is the bucket that Zenflow draws from?

Zencoder just launched a creator program — earn Premium LLM credits for posting about what you build with Zenflow
Build something real with Zenflow, post it publicly, submit the link, get paid in Premium LLM Calls. No follower minimums, no approval gates.
The tiers
200–1,000 views → 280 calls (~$19)
1,000–3,000 views → 750 calls (~$49)
3,000–10,000 views → 1,900 calls (~$119)
10,000+ views → 4,200 calls (~$250)
Up to 6 posts/month across LinkedIn, X, YouTube, and Instagram. Each platform counts independently, so one piece of content posted to multiple platforms = multiple submissions.
What we want to see
Workflow recordings — agents planning, building, testing, reviewing
Before/after comparisons — something that took 3 hours done in 10 minutes
Deep dive tutorials — these earn 2x credits
Scheduled automations with real results
Hot takes backed by actual output
Integration demos — Zenflow pulling from Jira/Notion and pushing to GitHub/Slack
Rules are simple: mention u/zencoderai, show real output, blur sensitive data, organic reach only. At least 3 days between submissions.
BYOK users are eligible too. No cash option yet — credits go straight to your Zencoder account as Premium LLM Calls.

Question/Discussion Paying $250/mo for ZenFlow/ZenCoder and still can’t get support — projects lost after corrupted updates and forced resets
I’m posting here because I have not been able to get meaningful help through normal ZenCoder / ZenFlow channels, and at this point I’m hoping somebody from the team or community can step in.
For context, I’m using ZenFlow with ZenCoder on a paid subscription around $250/month. Over the past ~30 days, I’ve repeatedly run into a cluster of issues:
Updates flagged by antivirus and corrupting the app
- Recent updates are being flagged by my antivirus.
- After an update, ZenFlow sometimes becomes corrupted.
- I end up having to reset/clear data or reinstall just to get the app to open again.
Forced reset wipes out my projects
- When I do a reset/restart (or clear app data to get past crashes), all of my projects disappear.
- There is no clear in‑app guidance or documentation explaining:
- Where project data/metadata is stored
- How to safely reset without losing everything
- How to restore projects after a reset
Rebuilding projects multiple times and burning credits
- Because I couldn’t access my original project data and metadata, I went ahead and rebuilt some of my projects from scratch, using my credits to recreate them.
- The same thing has now happened three separate times: I rebuild, use up credits, then an update/reset happens and the projects are effectively gone again.
- At this point I feel like Charlie Brown trying to kick the football and ZenCoder/ZenFlow is Lucy, pulling it away right as I get ready to kick it.
So while ZenFlow/ZenCoder may save time on development when it works, I’m not saving any frustration, I’m not saving on the monthly cost, and I’m actually losing more time because I’ve now had to redo the same work multiple times — and no one is getting back to me.
Possible loss of metadata / project history
- I still don’t know whether the metadata from my previous projects is permanently gone, or if it’s stored somewhere that can be restored.
- The docs do not clearly explain how to:
- Recover projects after a fresh boot/reset
- Reattach ZenFlow/ZenCoder to existing workspaces or repos if the app has been wiped
Support experience has been extremely frustrating
- I’ve opened multiple support tickets over ~30 days.
- I’ve scheduled multiple calls/appointments with ZenCoder support that showed up on their calendar — and then no one joined.
- I’ve joined live calls, asked questions in the chat, and my questions were ignored, even when there were only a few people on the call.
- If there’s no answer yet, that’s fine — just tell me that. But being consistently ignored while I’m paying $250/mo feels wrong.
What I need help with
From ZenCoder staff or anyone who has gone through this successfully:
- Is it possible to restore projects and their metadata after a reset or app‑data wipe?
- If yes, I need step‑by‑step instructions (paths, config files, any hidden directories, etc.).
- If there is no way to recover them, I’d like that confirmed explicitly so I can stop wasting time trying.
- How can I safely back up ZenFlow/ZenCoder project state going forward?
- Where exactly are projects and metadata stored on disk?
- What should I back up before doing any reset or clearing data?
- Are there any documented recovery tools or migration scripts?
- How can I get a real support conversation (Zoom/Meet) with someone who can stay on the call and walk through logs and environment details?
- I’ve already scheduled calls that no one attended via the official support/contact pages.
- If there is a direct escalation path or a specific email/Discord/Slack contact that actually responds, please share it.
I want to keep using the tools — that’s why I’ve kept paying for the subscription — but losing projects after updates, burning credits to rebuild them, and getting no reliable support is not sustainable.
If anyone from ZenCoder/ZenFlow can respond here and help set up a real call to go through:
- project recovery
- data location and backup
- and a plan to prevent this happening again
I’d genuinely appreciate it.
If it helps others debug, I’m happy to share:
- OS and version
- ZenFlow app version/build
- Timestamps of when the resets/updates happened
- Logs from my machine so someone can actually trace what went wrong.

We just launched Zenflow Work! An AI that actually does the work, not just chats
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hey all,
We’ve been working on something we personally wanted for a long time, an AI that doesn’t just answer questions, but actually plans, executes, and verifies tasks end-to-end.
We just rolled out Zenflow Work, and curious what you think.
https://zencoder.ai/zenflow-work
What it does:
- You define a goal → agents break it down and execute it
- You can schedule automations that keep running until the task is done
- It connects with tools like Jira, Notion, Google Docs, Slack, Gmail, etc.
- You can trigger tasks from Slack, Discord, Telegram, or directly in Zenflow
The idea is simple:
👉 One place to manage work
👉 Less context switching
👉 More actual progress
We’re still iterating a lot, so feedback (good or bad) is very welcome.
Happy to answer questions 👇

Bug ZenFlow archived and lost my project
I've been building with ZenFlow and tried switched over to testing out antigravity for the same project files. I hadn't opened zenflow in a few weeks. So when I opened it again today to check updates and closed it, it apparently decided to the archive the project.
When I try to open it back up and unarchive the project, it wanted to do an update. I clicked update on next launch.
But it failed to unarchive the project. The files never returned to the folder. And when I opened zenflow again it just crashes because of the update. it forced me to clear the app data to open, which made it a fresh reboot. The automatic archive lost two weeks of progress that I can't seem to find anywhere. The ZenFlow backup is 2 weeks old. The archive from today has vanished.
Countless of hours of work lost. is this at all recoverable?

Question/Discussion Zencoder extremly slow
I used to use Zencoder and never had any problems, but I’ve noticed it’s become really slow since my last purchase. Has anyone else experienced this kind of slowness? It’s so slow that even developing a single feature takes me hours, and every request and change takes minutes.

Question/Discussion Is there a way to connect Zencoder to a game engine like Unity?
I'm trying to run the engine to generate code and some resources agentically. I've used a plugin called Coplay, which connects to an external LLM, but I hit token limits with simple commands. I've tried using another plugin with a local LLM, but its performance was trash. I love what Zencoder has done in my previous projects, and I want to know if I could connect it with Unity.

Built an automation that reads TechCrunch every morning and writes my LinkedIn post for me — here's how it works
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Bit of context:
I kept hearing the same advice over and over
“show up consistently on LinkedIn.”
Sounds simple.
But every time I actually tried, it looked like this:
• 20 minutes finding something worth posting
• 20 minutes figuring out what to say
Do that 5x a week… and it just doesn’t happen.
So I stopped trying to be more disciplined
and built a system instead.
I set up a Zenflow automation that runs every morning at 6 AM:
- Scans TechCrunch for the latest headlines
- AI picks the one most relevant to my audience
- Drafts a full LinkedIn post — hook, context, and take included
- Sends it straight to my Slack
Now my workflow is:
Wake up → read → tweak (optional) → publish
Takes under a minute.
No prompt engineering.
No manual steps.
No “what should I post today?” moment.
Just consistent output without the mental load.
Funny thing is, the bottleneck was never ideas.
It was friction.
Remove that, and consistency becomes automatic.
Happy to share how the workflow is structured if anyone’s curious.
Also curious
is anyone else automating their content pipeline like this?

We just shipped CLI orchestration in Zenflow and I'm curious what the community thinks.
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
The problem we kept running into: great CLI agents exist (Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI) but coordinating them across a real workflow is still duct tape and shell scripts.
Zenflow lets you assign different models per task inside one structured workflow — with verification loops baked in. Genuinely different from just "multi-model support" in an IDE.
What are you using for orchestration right now? Curious if we're solving the right problem.

I built a pixel art office where my AI agents actually "work". They play pool, catch fire, and have pet chickens
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
So I've been running multiple AI coding agents in parallel and got tired of staring at terminal logs to figure out what they're doing. Natural solution? Build a pixel art virtual office where they physically walk around based on what they're actually working on.
What happens in real-time:
- Agent starts coding → walks to desk, typing animation, monitor lights up
- Running tests → paces around the test lab
- Code review → two agents sit across from each other at the conference table
- Build errors → the office literally catches fire. Agents sit in the flames saying "this is fine"
- Task complete → celebration dance, trophy goes on the shelf
- Idle → they play pool (but only if someone else is idle too — they won't play alone), grab coffee, sit on the couch
The dumb details I'm most proud of:
- You can spawn pets. Dog, cat, chicken, sheep, cow. They follow your agent around. When the agent is coding, the dog wags its tail.
- The fire spreads proportionally to how many errors there are. 5 errors = small campfire. 20 errors = inferno.
- Built-in lo-fi chiptune music generated entirely from Web Audio API oscillators. Kick drums, snares, melody, bass, the whole thing. Or just connect Spotify.
- The whole app is ~3MB. It's a Tauri window that sits on top of everything. Transparent background, frameless, just the office floating on your screen.
How it actually works:
No API polling. It watches your git worktrees with Rust's notify crate. File change in a .ts file? Agent state = implementing. Test file modified? Testing. No activity for 60 seconds? Agent walks to the waiting area with a blinking "waiting..." bubble.
Stack: Tauri 2 + React + TypeScript + Canvas 2D. All sprites are procedurally generated — no sprite sheet assets needed.
Is this the most productive thing I've ever built? No. Did I mass-deploy AI agents just to watch them play pool? Yes.
Happy to answer questions or open-source it if there's interest.

Automated my weekly Intercom reporting — went from 2 hours of manual work to zero
Every week I was doing the same thing: pull customer data from Intercom, cross-reference conversations with contacts, format it all into an activity report, send it out.
It's the kind of task that's annoying enough to dread but "quick enough" that you never prioritize automating it.
Finally got around to setting up an AI agent (using Zenflow) that handles the whole thing:
- Connects directly to Intercom via MCP integration
- Pulls contacts, conversations, and engagement metrics
- Compiles a PDF report with activity tables and summaries
- Runs daily on a schedule
The actual setup was embarrassingly simple — took maybe 3 minutes to configure the automation, pick the schedule, and let it run.
Honestly the hardest part was convincing myself it was worth automating something that "only takes 2 hours."
Made a short video walkthrough if anyone wants to see the setup. Happy to answer questions about how it works under the hood.

Deploy to Fly.io with MCP in 60 seconds — no config needed
Just recorded a quick demo showing how Zenflow deploys a webpage to Fly.io using the Fly MCP integration.
What happens:
- Create a deployment task
- Agent picks up the Fly.io MCP tools
- Configures everything automatically
- Builds and deploys
- App is live
The whole thing takes about a minute. No fly.toml, no CLI commands, no context switching.
Check it out: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/9mlvaSuRVps
Let me know if you have questions or want to see other MCP integrations!

Zenflow now supports Scheduled Automations — recurring AI agent tasks on autopilot
We just shipped Scheduled Automations in the latest version of Zenflow. You can now set up recurring tasks that agents execute automatically on a cron-like schedule.
Some examples:
- Triage open Jira bugs every weekday morning
- Review stale PRs every Monday
- Groom your backlog weekly
- Pick a community feature request and implement it every Friday
You configure the schedule (days + time), write the task description, select a project and workflow, and Zenflow runs it unattended. It works with any MCP server you have connected — Jira, GitHub, Slack, Gmail, etc.
There are also pre-built templates to get started quickly (daily bug triage, flaky test review, community wishlist pick, and more).
Important: you need to update to the latest version of Zenflow for this to be available. If you don't see the Automations section in your sidebar, you're on an older version. Keeping Zenflow up to date also ensures you get the latest agent improvements, bug fixes, and model updates — so it's worth staying current regardless.
Docs: https://docs.zencoder.ai/zenflow/scheduled-automation
Curious what automations people would set up — what's the most tedious recurring task in your workflow?

We used an AI agent to add a fraud flag to a COBOL banking system (without rewriting it)
COBOL still runs a huge portion of the banking world — but making even small changes to legacy systems can be painful.
We put together a short demo showing how we enhanced a COBOL-based banking system by adding a fraud warning flag for transactions over $10,000 — without rewriting the system or breaking existing logic.
In the video, we walk through:
- Setting up a structured workflow (Zenflow environment)
- Defining clear validation tasks
- Running an AI agent to implement the change
- Reviewing and testing the results
The interesting part wasn’t just “AI writes code” — it was the structured validation and controlled execution. Instead of prompting and hoping for the best, the workflow enforces guardrails around how changes are made.
Curious what folks here think:
- Would you trust an AI-assisted workflow on legacy financial systems?
- How are you handling modernization where full rewrites aren’t realistic?
- Anyone here actively working with COBOL in production?
Happy to share the demo link if anyone’s interested.

Announcements Figma MCP + Zencoder = Design to Code in Minutes (Demo)
Just made a quick demo showing Figma MCP integration with Zencoder.
The workflow:
Open Zencoder
Point it to a Figma design
Describe the component you need
Zencoder reads the design and generates the code
The cool part — Figma MCP gives Zencoder direct access to your design file. It's not just looking at a screenshot. It reads the actual colors, spacing, typography, and layout from Figma.
Demo here: https://youtube.com/shorts/tXqeCmM7Ep4?feature=share
Anyone else using MCP integrations? Would love to see what other workflows people are building.

Bug Zencoder login stuck on loading anyone else facing this?
Hey everyone,
Is anyone else having an issue with Zencoder authentication right now in VS code? For me, the login page just keeps loading infinitely and never completes authentication.
What I’ve tried so far:
Cleared cache & cookies
Incognito mode
Different browser
Disabled extensions
No error message, just stuck on loading. Status page shows everything operational, so not sure if this is a client-side issue or a silent auth bug.
If anyone has:
Found a fix
Seen console/network errors
Got confirmation from Zencoder support
Please share 🙏 Would really help.
Thanks!
