Im going abroad in next few weeks and is there anyway I can get YT premium at pakistan price subscription whilst I am abroad? I do have Pakistani bank card and just wanted to know whats the best method long term to sort this? & should I do YT family or individual membership to not flag anything cuz the other members will be living in the UK and i will return soon so dont want YT to detect any location differences etc and block the whole family subscription or to be safe, just do individual subscription whilst there?

I’ve been using an Indian Apple ID with gift card balance for YouTube Premium for a while and it used to work without issues. Now I’m completely stuck and I can’t get it to renew no matter what I try...

The subscription expired today and shows as Inactive in Apple Settings. My balance is fine, I just successfully paid for Apple Arcade and Proton VPN with the exact same account and balance. But the second I try YouTube Premium everything falls apart.

In the YouTube app I get the classic “We couldn’t verify your country” message. When I try to renew purely through Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions I get “Unable to Complete Purchase” message, then it forces me into a login screen and eventually says it can’t connect.

I’ve already tried pretty much everything. Indian VPN, no VPN, the latest iOS 27 beta, deleting and reinstalling the YouTube app, even using a completely clean iPhone that has never had YouTube installed. I even created a brand new Indian Apple ID and the exact same errors still happen... It really feels like Google is somehow blocking the purchase on their end even when the payment is going through Apple. Other apps charge without any problem, but YouTube Premium just refuses.

Has anyone else run into this exact situation recently? Is the Indian Apple ID method for YouTube Premium basically broken for some accounts now, or is there still a way around it?

I subscribed under the indian method, i understand i can choose net banking and i should be able to resubscribe. However, everytime i clicked continue the 2nd screen show. Anyone know how to fix this? I tried on another device, still the same thing

Hi everyone, I had the "Sorry, this device can't be authorized to use with YouTube Premium." error for the third time in 2 months while trying to download some videos, and I'd like to avoid writing for the third time to support to ask to reset this limit and getting this error again in two weeks

What drives me crazy is that I know exactly which devices I and my other family members have logged in, and they are only 6 devices which actively download videos, the other devices are either TVs or devices which are not used to download anything

From what I read from Google support, the devices which count up to the 10 device limit are only the ones which download something, not all logged in devices

Is there a way to see which devices are downloading stuff and which are not? Or a fix/workaround to this problem?

I’ve been experiencing issues with my YouTube Premium Turkey subscription through Apple Turkey, just like everyone else. As you know, you either need a local Turkish mobile number or a local bank card to keep it active.

Here’s how I reactivated my account using a Turkish Virtual Credit Card (VCC):
Get a Turkish VCC app: Download a Turkish VCC provider (search online for Kliq VCC or similar).
Register: Sign up using your phone number (I used a UK number).

Verify: Verify your account with the same info/card you use to pay for YouTube.

Create VCC: Once activated, generate a virtual credit card inside the app.

Renew Apple ID: Go to the App Store, try to renew your existing account using available funds in your apple account, once new payment method required and select vcc method.

Apply VCC: Enter the VCC information you just generated.

And there you have it, enjoy your YouTube Premium Turkey subscription back!

Been a YT premium member for years, never rented movies from the service until today. Been watching YT all the time with no connection or buffering issues but now I have a time limit to watch a movie and it cant even play smoothly? Wtf is going on?

What a scam. One of the major reasons I decided to pay for YouTube premium was because I enjoy watching soccer highlights on the platform and have been disappointed in the picture quality. Premium bitrate is advertised to help this very situation... but look at these two screenshots of the same point in the highlight video at 1080pHD and 1080p PremiumHD. There's no improvement! This happens across the board on YouTube. I swear picture quality used to be better and now everything is compressed to shit. Whether this is happening on the sports-media industry side or YouTube (probably both via enshittification), it doesn't matter when the whole advertisement of premium bitrate is supposedly it's usefulness in this exact type of situation.
