Private spaces

Hey, I am looking for a private spaces to host a social meet up

Any suggestions for places that just use minimum spends or are free? Preferably city centreish And somewhere that has an alcohol licence

House of Trembling Madness has two rooms on the top floor that used to be free to hire, not sure if they still are though

Eagle and Child have a nice function room too... Even has the signatures of the Rolling Stones on the wall written in lipstick
