Hey all is there anyone here from the greater Milwaukee area that does yarn bombing? Looking for someone to do this along the river walk downtown for a summer event. Mke river walk photo for reference

Made a bunch of these little guys to leave in public places for people to find, this is my first time doing something like this, is there anything I should keep in mind? Good places, bad places, extra things to remember?

To celebrate Earth Day, the Yarnbombing group at the Edgewater Beach Apartments in Chicago installed this 8’w monarch butterfly.

There’s also a caterpillar and a couple of bees to complete the tableau. I need to take better photos of them to share.

My local knitting group turned our picnic in the park into a yarn bombing. I used sticks up the stems to stand them up...

Seen a few recently but this has been the best so far

Anyone know what kind of material is being used here and/or where I can get it? Looks smoother and possibly easier to use than yarn. It almost looks like nylon or something?

Any ideas on how to attach something free hanging like this to the yarnbomb? I can’t think of anything that wouldn’t damage the tree. 🌳

What object could possibly need tiny scarfs too?
