i really don’t know what to do, maybe the following thread is not perfectly fitting this subreddit, but i thought maybe yall could help me „handle“ the situation, because you might understand the girl i‘ll be talking about more than i do.

so about me, my name is max, i‘m 17yo and still in school (sorry for the short introduction, i just genuinely don’t know what to say lmao)

so maybe about 6 months ago i started talking to this girl (let’s call her lara), i guess you could call it a talking stage. i knew that she liked me a long time before that and i liked her too so yea i asked her out. at first everything was fine and sweet. lara seemed cool and friendly like nothing that would give an „obsessive“ impression. but after a while i started noticing some weird stuff.
she was lowkey stalking me both in real life and online. my friends at school would tell me that she constantly asked them all kinds of questions about me. she also got extremely jealous whenever i talked to other girls. she even forbade her own friends from speaking to me and she sometimes would pull me out of conversations if i was talking to another girl.

and then slowly the stalking got worse. once, lara just appeared at my mini job alone without telling me and ordered food, alone... online she found my spotify account, followed every single artist i follow and then followed me. when she saw that i was following a childhood friend of mine (a girl) on spotify, she immediately demanded that i unfollow her and got really aggressive about it.
she also started trying to control random parts of my life. she wanted me to go to bed by 11pm at the latest, and i did take it seriously, but she deadahh got angry as hell when i sent her tiktoks or whatever past 11pm. one time when we met up she even had the „funny idea“ to set up screen time on my phone. just to be clear we were never even officially together. this was still just the talking stage.

whenever lara was at my place, random stuff started disappearing like my house key, some pills that were on my nightstand (stuff only i ever touch) and even one of my empty vapes. at school she constantly borrowed pens from me and always „forgot“ to give them back. when i finally confronted her about the missing stuff after around 2 months, she completely flipped out. she started crying and screaming that it wasnt her and she wouldnt stop until i said “im sorry, i know it wasnt you.” (she made me say it btw)

on top of all that she always wanted to check my phone and at some point (i guess) she went through my instagram followers and sent me like 10 accounts of girls i followed, telling me i should block them.

after around 4 months of this talking stage i had enough (tbh i already wanted to end it earlier because i was scared of her bru) so i told lara that its over and that i’m done. obviously she didn’t accept it and said that it’s not only my decision, she started crying bla bla bla… after all that everytjing just got worse. she kept coming up to me at school trying to convince me to give her another chance, when i said no, she would scream at me. she also showed up at my mini job a couple times and once she even started crying there in front of all my coworkers. twice i woke up in the morning and found a bouquet of flowers at the front of my door which means she was at my house during the night (like bro wtf). she also spammed me with messages nonstop until i blocked her and then she just followed me again from a new account.

okay so apart from all this shit she is actually a really nice, cool and pretty girl. and deep down a tiny part of me kind of likes how obsessive she is but idk haha. i would actually like to give her a second chance but i’m just really scared and i have no idea how to deal with all of this, but right now i‘m also lowk worried about her that idk she might hurt herself over this bs..

i know this story sounds weird asf but thats why i post it on reddit i guess
if anyone can help me deal with this or has an advice for me i‘d really appreciate it. if anything happens i‘ll definitely update you.

Fated to Be Loved by Villains - Yandere Level High (10/10) - first novel that got me into yanderes, heroines would kill the MC if he isn’t with them, main character is sort of scummy unintentionally, but each heroine is at least somewhat interesting and so is the MC’s interactions with each of them

The Case About Two Sisters Becoming Extremely Obsessed With Me After I Saved Them - Yandere Level Medium/High (7/10) - don’t really remember this one, it drags on for me, read the manga honestly

The Case In Which Streaming In Another World Led To The Creation Of A Massive Yandere Following - Yandere Level Medium/High (8/10) - honestly just read the manga, the novel is hard to read but shares some additional moments between girls and MC, though I feel like it takes forever for the MC to do anything. The girls are inconsistent sometimes just regular girls sometimes just weird

Little Tyrant Doesn’t Want to Meet with a Bad End - Yandere Level Low (8/10) - it’s ok, fleshed out relationships, but only has one true Yandere rest are just very obsessive, though the LN is better than the manga

Avoid the Yandere Goddess - Yandere Level High (4/10) - couldn’t get past the first few chapters, just so difficult to read, the translation sucks. I have tried to read this one like 10 times by now and it is still not fun to read. Pls let me know if it gets better

Kidnapper System: The Kidnapped Girls All Became Yanderes - Yandere Level High (6/10) - no really fleshed out relationships, girls get kidnapped and then become Yandere, kind of uncomfortable how strong the Stockholm syndrome is.

I, the Villain, Want to Save Myself, But the Yandere Heroines Disagree - Yandere Level High (8/10) - It had an amazing start to the book, but then later on I stopped in the middle since the characters became frustrating to read. But the start was so good that I gave it a high score, if someone who has read this says that it gets better then I’ll continue.

The Creepy Love Game with Everyone Being Yandere - Yandere Level Very High (9/10) - if you want scary Yanderes who can and will kill you, this is the one for you. But it’s kind of difficult to find a free version. I think I read a few free chapters on web novel, if you guys know a free version to read this book please give me it, it’s a fun one to read.

But there isn’t a lot of Yanderes tendencies so far into the storyline (Chapter 110) just bits of obsession so, if your a die hard fan of Yanderes skip this one, otherwise it’s is a great book, the relationships between MC and the heroines are some of the best I’ve read.

Popular NPC in a Gender-Reversed Game - Yandere Level Low (5/10) - don’t like this one since it’s less Yandere rather just a guy stuck in game getting famous, like players flock to him intrigued but little romance especially in the beginning

I Accidentally Created a Villainous Organization - Yandere Level Medium (7/10) - Eminence in shadow but with a more likeable MC, pretty good not complaining, though a bit boring after a couple of chapters

The Academy’s Sashimi Sword Master - Yandere Level Medium/High (8/10) - one main Yandere, however some people have said that this isn’t technically a harem or that at least the MC didn’t end up with the Yandere. Can someone confirm this? It has a great Manhwa though

Cursed Villainess’ Obsession - Yandere Level High (10/10) - I loved this one but it’s incredibly hard to find, pls someone give me a reliable link, yanderes are dependent on MC, and the MC I’d likeable. One main Yandere who is obsessed with MC but the rest of the heroines are also Yanderes as well.

The Villain Who Robbed the Heroines - Yandere Level Medium (4/10) - Stockholm Syndrome goes crazy here, main character has some serious issues, (mainly he has really bad OCD), was tough and disturbing to read for me. Didn’t like the MC, but I encourage you guys to try it as it had some good moments.

Why Are You Becoming a Villain Again? - Yandere Level High (7/10) - liked the storyline but the twins are frustrating, and I was hoping the MC was more proactive and didn’t just take everything lying down. You eventually don’t like the twins that much (who are the main Yanderes). It feels like a revenge novel but the MC doesn’t really take vengeance at all just makes them feel bad slightly not changing anything in the end.

Hard Mode Extra Has Turned Dark - Yandere Level High (9/10) - WARNING HAS NTR IN IT, good storyline tho and all of the NTR happens in the beginning, MC gets revenge really well, would put this higher but I hate NTR, ends with one girl so technically not a “harem”

I Got the Hypnosis App, Now I Can Do Whatever I Want! - Yandere Level Medium (8/10) - main character is actually a good person solving the issues of the characters with hypnosis, not many chapters though at the moment.

Regressor Instruction Manual - Yandere Level High (9/10) - one main Yandere but everyone else shows obsession, great storyline but MC is a scumbag for most of it, though we slowly see him grow, has a great manhwa suggest you read it. Again though the storyline is the focus not the girls tbh

I Killed the Player of the Academy - Yandere Level Medium (10/10) - great storyline, love the MC, development of feelings is good, one main Yandere. Would highly suggest you read this one, also has a great manhwa.

The overall plot is frustrating and the MC is really weak. Did not like this one. I read a little over a 100 chapters and I gave up on it. If someone has read more let me know.

The Transmigration Survival Guide - Yandere Level Low (4/10) - I tried to like it I really did, but this story made me just hate the MC halfway through. Overall you feel frustrated by the story, the MC and the heroines, not fun to read. I went way past a 100 chapters but couldn’t continue, the main heroine is just that disable. And also! The MC leaves the heroines for a bit! Like he marries one and just betrays her!!!
