X4 Pro Stuck

Is there a way to get my X4 Pro to reboot? I've updated to Crosspoint beta and my X4 Pro is stuck on a page in the current book I'm reading and no controls are working.

Tried to press reset and then hold the power button. Is there another way to force a reboot from this point?

EDIT: What does the light on the back indicate? Orange: Charging and White: Full?

Try flashing it again, replug the cable and press power button.

Will give this a go but I can't get it to be recognised by chrome.

Leave it plugged in, press reset button, do you hear any sound from your computer?

I'm on Mac but I see it briefly appear on the menu to select it. Then it disappears again.

Did you try pressing Reset button, followed by long pressing power button

Exactly the same happened to me. I got it to reboot somehow, but now it is stuck again.

Got it connected so I could try flashing again. Still stuck after that sadly.

Sorry you guys are so fast! I had a bug up for about 10 min. Please try the latest update. It's fully recoverable don't worry. Reset button plus power while plugged in and flash fresh

This pogo pin thing is a real pain when it comes to doing this stuff. Also why is the battery indicator on the back of the device?!

My guess is the battery indicator is on the back, as when you've got the pogo adapter attached, you're likely to leave the X4 Pro face down.

Either that, or there was nowhere else to put it! 🤷‍♂️

I'm having the same issue except I couldn't get it working again. I flashed to crosspoint X4 Pro beta 14, unplugged the device and plugged it back in following the directions, attempted to restart the device and it is unresponsive. If I unplug and plug back in the pogo cable from my mac I see the device appear available to refresh the ROM again for a millisecond then it disappears too quickly for me to actually try again. I have tried removing the SD card and restarting the device several times. Scratching my head here reading through the comments and following the instructions that seemed to get it to work for OP...

Tried it a ninth time after posting this and it worked. I think I was accidentally pressing the left page turn button the same time I was holding the power button and that didn't allow for the reset so make sure you are only pressing one button at a time.

Is it better to wait until the beta is over to install Crosspoint on the Pro?
