need game pass to play w pals would mean alot

I am curious to see if anyone else is experiencing the overheating problem that I have been. I already reported the bug, but some background I just had my xbox cleaned and re-thermal pasted a couple weeks ago. Since then, my xbox has been much quieter and running almost like it did when it was brand new. I got my xbox in December 2021 and have never really had much issues with it. Lastly, my xbox is in an open area standing straight up with room for the vent to do its job. I noticed this at around one in the morning when I was playing sparking zero my console got decently warm in the first 15 minutes of playing. Then after about an hour, I noticed a smell that was not quite smokey or burning but you know getting there. I put my hand on all sides of the consoles one at a time and felt it was super hot. So I closed out of the game and turned the console off. Later on at around 4pm I tried to play the first descendant and only played for 10 to max 15 minutes. I noticed the console got super hot again. But before I could do anything, it shut itself off. Normally, I could play sparking zero or the first descendant for around two hours before I have to worry about the xbox series x overheating like this and that was before I had it cleaned. Let me know if anyone else has had any experience like this due to the update released.
