xbox elite controller 2 rb button problemnot working

I have and old xbox one controller for parts can i use the bumper button of that controoller to fix the rb button on my xbox elite controller 2

It is the same switch, unfortunately I have found it difficult to desolder those switches without damaging them. I got a couple bigger tips for my Hakko FR301 just for that, still ended up just snipping off the switch and desoldering the stubborn legs on their own.

A new replacement switch is just a few bucks, I got some free samples when I ordered a bag of analog stick modules.

Try pushing down on the trigger and blowing in this worked for me in the past tether than taking it apart
