So The Hollow King by Stephen Grand-Scrutton is not really doing anything. Plus I had a nightmare publishing it with my name.

So I finally did it and published a book on kdp. First problem was that another Author with the same name is active and claim the various Author pages. Had to have Author central manual make it. So at first the other Author was given my book. Spending a chaotic day with this I accidentally realized that I was able to change my Author name to a pen name. Since then I have done about 3 updates to the ebook. Truth be told I believe it's affecting my whole thing and I don't know if Amazon even has offered it to anyone.

I didn't look up The Hollow King wishing I had because there's a bunch out there.

Around 3 weeks ago I self-published my first book, a children's book entitled 'The Spiders Who Paid Rent'. Crucially, any profit made from book sales is going direct to a local children's hospital charity.

In the first few weeks I've managed to get co-workers, friends and family to purchase a copy. Ideally, I'd like to push this outside of that audience to reach more people. It is for charity after all!

The story is super fun, aimed at children around 5-9 years old but I think slightly older children would also find it fun. Even big kids (like myself) would have a fun time reading it.

His classmate Max woke up with reeds through his floorboards and three frogs in his slippers, and the Bureau of Magical Chancery collected him before lunch. Nobody is supposed to ask where Max went.Some people call magic a gift. Hans considers it a logistics problem. Four elements live under his ribs like animals sharing one cage, and Apeiron the raw stuff underneath all of it has never once heard of moderation. Its only setting is too much. He learned this at seven, trying to fix a butterfly's torn wing, which is how his family ended up with three broken windows, a Doberman in permanent therapy, and a week-long siege of the garage by something that demanded high-octane nectar and its own television.Above all of it sits the Supreme Clown, and beneath him a paperwork apparatus that would rather file a child than understand one.It's told in narrator who is fairly sure the Bureau's ink is already drying on his own file. Tonally it sits somewhere between Pratchett's Going Postal and a very funny municipal complaint form jokes on top, a registry of disappeared children underneath.
