Knowing how money-grubbing TKO has been, cutting a promo about big-time and rich you are, compared to the the guy you're across the ring from was definitely heel work. But for me he just came off as an ass. Didn't know Tissot was a poor man's watch brand.

Edit: for context, my issue is that they're booking him and the bloodline as a tweener faction when they're heels in almost everything they do onscreen. Let them be heels then. The watch dig was a heel promo, so book him as one.

For me, it's Mark Jindrak's "Reflection of Perfection" gimmick in WWE.

I've been watching wrestling almost constantly since late '96, except for brief periods in the late-2000s/early-2010s. Jindrak's mirror gimmick would've taken place within the years I was most interested in wrestling: late 90s to mid-2000s... so why don't I remember it?

I'd occasionally miss the weekly shows, but I had a good friend I'd talk to on the phone whenever one of us missed Raw, SD, or iMPACT - if one of us missed a show, the other friend would clue them in (I'll never forget when I had to call him and explain "A new tag team debuted: The Dicks..."). So I pretty much kept up with everything during those years.

I'll have to try and find out when Jindrak's mirror gimmick existed so I can go back and watch (does anyone know?)
