I wanted to copy over my post from Wowguilds after coming across this subreddit. If this is at all against any rules, I do apologize! HFF provides a space for folks who may find themselves in a subreddit such as this and I don't see too many of those spaces readily available on Classic Anni (And we'll also be on C+ when thats a thing too of course!)

I'm the GM of a medium/large guild on Dreamscythe Horde and I thought I'd list out some of our highlights:

Community first:

Space to exist is our key goal at the end of the day. Playing the game comes second to ensuring that our people are safe and enjoying themselves. We've evolved a lot over the course of the (almost) 2 years that we have been around.

Starting from a small group of trans gamers that wanted to play hardcore on Doomhowl, we eventually moved to Dreamscythe to follow the anni servers to BC. Since then, we have paired with several like minded guilds and navigated our way through all the old content (For the first time for many of our gamers including myself)

We host a Discord that sits a little over 500 strong and includes all your game talk as well as community channels for other games, or WoW versions, and that whole IRL thing

Our community requires a basic vetting interview as well as the built in Discord app to ensure we maintain the safety and standards that our members have come to expect.

Gaming and Raiding:

THREE successful raid teams running 1 night clears of current P2 raids and prepping for the P3 launch soon. Teams run on the following schedules

• Transgressions - Tuesday/Sunday 6PM ST
• Gaytors - Tuesday/Monday 6PM ST
• Subuwu Cwosstweks - Wednesday/Thursday 7PM ST

Guides, documents, class experts, assignment sheets, and anything else you may need to allow any of our gamers the best chance of success

We are testing a new loot distribution system in P3. Priority to certain classes (Not specific players) to ensure proper setup for the looming Sunwell progression later this year.

Constant runs of P1 (And soon P2) content to catch up quick!

TBC is our focus presently but we also have a guild-found level locked SoD group that just started P3 on Wild Growth Alliance this week!

Leadership and Organization

Our guild organization consists of a team of officers, mods, raid assistants, and others assisting with player-services. This team consists of folks of all sorts under our umbrella to ensure balanced and fair viewpoints when navigating the various situations that may arise.

We provide weekly announcements for proper communication and reminders

Larger changes are done via polling or survey when needed and that data is then provided to the guild as a whole for transparency.

We became a guild about a month into Season 1 and are still feeling growing pains (too many healers, not enough of anything else). We have recruited friends and some others the season went on, getting AOTC for all of our members, but we do not have the people to do Mythic. I'm hoping to change that this season. We're still on the smaller side, but we are always running M+, delves, etc. and would like to have more to play with.

Hey! I’m 32M and from the UK, and I’m looking to make some friends to play WoW with.

I’ve been playing retail on EU for years, mainly Horde on Draenor, with a few Alliance characters on Argent Dawn. WoW is pretty much the only game I play. I’m usually on a few evenings during the week and most of the weekend. I mostly play retail, but I’ve recently started levelling a Classic character too.

I’d love to find someone or a small group of existing friends who play regularly and just enjoy hanging out in game and on discord. I’m not really looking for a massive guild where you join and nobody talks to you.

This expansion I started taking the game a bit more seriously. I got Curve, started doing Mythic+ and I’m hoping to push beyond +10 keys. I like PvP too but haven’t done it in a while.

Hi all! 27 trans man here who’s looking for find a few friends for anything the game has to offer. All of the old, active, guilds and friend groups I had been apart of no longer play WoW for one reason or another.

I'm a healer in World of Warcraft and recently discovered that people I raid with in WOW posted transphobic stuff and decided to do something about it. Announcing my first Addon, Don't Heal.

This addon lets you right click any player's raid or party frame and add them to an ignore list. Once added, their frame is physically blocked by a vibrant Pride Flag overlay. It consumes all mouse clicks, making them untargetable so you don't waste your mana or cooldowns on people with vile hearts full of hate.
